The article isn't saying that older women are "better." It's just pointing out an often overlooked niche in the market. Obviously, we'd all prefer to get with gorgeous 21 year olds. But so does everyone!

Younger women are generally more attractive than older ones, but there are some older ones who take good care of themselves and are quite gorgeous. These can be had at a lower "price" than the later models due to lower demand.

That's an intellectually dishonest analysis of the data from the OKStupid author. The data presented actually tells the opposite story: men are more willing to date older women, but women are less willing to date younger men. However, in the analysis, the author is making out as if men are ignoring older women and should really be giving them a chance.

What this data shows is simply that men are less age centric than are women. More men are interested in dating younger women than are women in dating younger men. But as for older, it's about the same - there isn't much difference in the willingness to date older people.

I do enjoy the company of an older lady from time to time, but she must fit the same bill as a younger one. Good lookin, fun, a lil bit crazy, etc.

I do think the "male fixation on youth" is just as prevalent in women. Most women do want security common in an older man, as we all know, but I've had some Gorgeous older ladies do some crazy things for youth while their husbands are in the room next door. Everyone prefers youth and beauty to saggy balls/boobs.

i was, what, 23, she was 48. older than my mom. hell I'm 28 and my mom still isn't 48 lol. Anyway, i met her at a car lot while getting my car serviced, she was Australian, nice looking older woman. you could tell she was in her 40's but i was really digging the accent, had a grade 1 rack as well. Honestly about a 6.5, not going to say she was super hot or antyhing but defiantly bangable. we exchange numbers, she calls me and asks me would i like to go to a club with her on a thursday n ight, i say sure why the hell not. she picks ME up in her convertible bmw, takes me to the club, is all over me while we are drinking, she asks me would i like to come back to her place, i'm like sure why not, plus it was close. Actually went out on dates/ kicked it with her for like 2 months, it was defiantly different and showed me some things i should come to expect from a woman, could cook her ASS off, loved to travel, wasn't broke (her husband died, was left with some money) and didn't mind spending it, smart, she actually had developed tastes in things like music, etc.

I've had a few of them, they all used to be dancers or artists. They were hot in their days, I saw photos of two in particular who were the type that'd stop traffic. Wish I nailed them then! Now, not so much (6~7 at most, late 30s to early 40s), although they do keep in good shape. Still full of drama though, and you could tell why they're still single (although I heard one is getting married soon).

I'm working on another one of those (late 30s)... or rather, she's working on me. It's kinda fun being the hunted. The trap is that the older chicks are less work so it's easy for us to get lazy and make it a "buffer" habit as old Rollo would say.

ugh,, puke, old women, no! Who likes gumby paper mache legs to look at? I've recently been oogled and cajoled by a mid-50s woman, artsy, a prominent teacher and widow to an extremely rich (with a fleet of yatchs, the werks) Scottish gentleman, but I couldn't stop asking myself, "Self, this woman is not only a quote cougar unquote with a seemingly rotund juicy, though unavoidably aged, as5, but her Face is too close to the primates we may or may not have originated from (due to her age, of course).

I just can't go beyond mid-30s. The oldest woman I've ever fvcked was 34 April of this year, I think. She was a good fvck, but her brain had already deteriorated to the realm of most 30+ women's brains which is man-wary or anti-man. They're Never as loving when they get past about 27. It's like they grow more and more and more calloused or deadened as more and more and more of their youth/looks fade. They grow more and more resentful, pissy, and disbelieving of men. How do you Love that?
