"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

The typical pair on the show has a budget between $25,000 and $30,000; they’re planning to put all of it toward the wedding or a down payment on a home that generally costs between $300,000 and $400,000. The current home value for a house in Nashville, according to Zillow, is $323,075, up from just under $300,000 in January 2020 and $280,000 in January 2019.
“A financial plan can easily show that $25k-$30k spent on a memory instead of investing, whether through a home down payment or in the stock market, is not a good idea,” added Eric Powell, the founder of the virtual financial firm The Future Mill. But “the reality is humans, not just Millennials, want to have great memories.”
Wow, marriage to an American woman means p!ssing away a bachelor's nascent nest egg that will be over after 5 hours. All that BetaMaxxing to prove one's worthiness to a chick that will start getting chunky and having "headaches" after spitting out some kids, and is going to get the last financial laugh with the grand finale divorce later on. I think I'll pass.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

As we know, a lot of women's 'fronting' is to impress/make other women jealous.

Thing is, as women tend be more sheep like, other friends in their social circle will want to emulate or exceed their friends on their big day.

Struggling to think of something that's such a waste of money.

If you're well off, fair enough, it's more relative to your situation.

Could also been seen as red flag if woman really pushes for an extravagant wedding. More interested in showing off, than what's supposed to be the real meaning.

My experience of it, has been the biggest weddings ending in divorce within 3 years or so. Friends/family who weren't particularly wealthy as far as I could glean either.
