The human study referenced in that article was flawed as it had no control group and a small sample size.

The two animal studies in that "article" have not been repeated, but even if they were, animal studies mg/kg doses do not always translate into human doses. Either way, it's not something to dismiss.

The amount of evidence for potential toxic side effects is far weaker than it's evidence for antiparasitic and antiviral activity. It bears repeating at this point that Ivermectin is on the WHO’s list of essential medicines, has been given 3.7 billion times around the globe, and has won the Nobel prize.

I have plenty of beef with the medical field, as many do. The pandemic has basically revealed a lot of their laziness and selfishness. But good grief, the BASICS of medicine are still the same. I've seen doctors prescribe small does of ivermectin. But these clowns that are buying it at the county co-op? Or trying to wholesale use it to treat COVID rather than vaccines and other basic treatments? Hey man, aggressive stupidity is all I can say.

Edited for your valid rebuttal, but I think your missing my point.
I prefer to prevent getting a STD, not treat it after the fact with an anti-parasitic or anti-viral drug regardless if it’s legitimate or not.
