Does anybody else's arms ever get harder than a rock when lifting. I also notice when I ride my dirt bike they do the same thing. I cant even pull in the clutch it gets so bad. I think it is the lactic acid building up. My arms just get too tired way too fast.

Does any one know how to reduce the effects of arm pump?

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

When you use your fu€king muscles your body pumps more blood into your arm and also opens up some more routes for blood to flow in.

I think that heavy lifting gives you more arm pump than light lifting more reps. So if you're a heavy lifter, that could explain why you're getting tired so quickly.

While this may be a "duh" type of answer, I'd say back off on the amount of weight and do more stamina building exercises for your muscles. You won't lose too much muscle mass as long as you're still working them out, but do more reps with a lighter weight.

Your muscles will be able to bear longer periods of lighter loads without locking up (like on a bike), but you won't be able to lift as HEAVY a load (if someone needed you to hold their car up while they changed a tire or some **** like that)
