Arm pain

I've experienced severe arm pain when lifting lately. I guess the only thing to do is rest and see what happens. Anyone else have this? Sharp pain in my bicep and especially hurts during curls.

I think sometimes I overdo it and this is what happens. All I have to do is even flex my arm and i can feel the strain deep in my arm. Serious or just something a little rest will cure?
