I like to think DJing as an experiment,you have your ingredients(style,looks,personality) ,your formula(techniques,mindsets,tactics) and everything,but sometimes i'm afraid to mix up the ingredients and stir the formula because of fear it may all blow up in my face(rejection,angry bf).But how can i discover new things without actually doing the experiment? Alot of us have it all down on papers,all chemical reactions measured to the miligram(exact words,moves,hairstyle) ,there's no room for failure,but we still do fail cause we don't mix up the chemicals.You can't say that you discovered anything only on papers.Of course you don't want to start messing with nitroglycerine(menage a trois 
) without any knowledge of chemistry cause there is a high chance of failure,so we all start with simple things,like vinegar and baking powder..wow it bubbles(smiles,#close),but don't be fooled! Repeating this procedure will not automatically make you an expert chemist.
Sometimes you can mix up random stuff and make something unique! Problem is you can't recreate the result cause you don't know what the fvck you did (drunk sex anyone?)
What im trying to say,if you know the formula,and have the ingredients,do the experiment,but DO NOT fall in the trap of trying to be 100% sure it will work because on more complex reactions (ONS for example) there are unstable ingredients,you can never be sure it will work,but you're only left with your ingredients and research if you don't try.
