I hate to use the term but here is one of the most concise definitions of the concept I've encountered. You can just listen to the audio but the cartoons are brilliant.

In a nutshell: Alpha gets first choice of meat and mate.

What does this mean in the modern world?
  • First choice of meat (he has enough resources to go to Whole Foods and Steakhouses and pay for dates)
  • First choice of mate (he is physically powerful and strong enough to take anyone in the room in a fight)
Summary - if you are broke OR weak, you are not Alpha. Get a job and hit the gym.

 

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

I will take on anyone in the room, gym 5 days a week 5 main meals a day no performance enhancing drugs ......
*However im self employed i have excellent weeks and low income weeks,
*If she aint just as happy at a steak house... as she is sitting on me bed with a bag of chips and a bottle of top shelf spirit from the corner shop she aint welcome in my life
