Is it possible that men's inability to make rationale and cogent decisions, due to the fact that they are genetically drawned to t!ts and ass, and this desire to be be with a "hot chick," is so great that it interferes with their ability make what would otherwise be choices?

Think about it, why else would a man after seeing what's happened to friends and family knock up a chick with nothing going for her? Why else would a man be with the town bike or a gold digger? Why else would a man want to be with the town bike? I say it's because men have a genetic disposition to be stupid. This was something that was on my mind and I was worrying what you guys thought about it.

Like the other posters pointed out you can easily apply this argument to men. The fact is that most people in general don't make rational and logical decisions. Men may be the more rational of the sexes but they still aren't completely rational beings. You have a point though. Hypergamy doesn't care about whether it's a good time to have a baby, how abusive the man is, etc.

Women would argue that most men's sole criteria for a partner - looks - is pretty stupid.

And most people here would argue that the the rampant AFCness amongst males, causing them to put up with awful naggy women who make them unhappy, is pretty stupid too.

What it comes down to is value, not gender. Women can outsmart low value males with ease, just as alpha males can take advantage of low value females.

Here is the main problem. Humans have two traits that make them special and that will ruin them.

We are hierarchal.

We are intelligent.

The problem is we were hierarchal first. We had a pecking order and women have always been at the bottom of it. At the top was the strong man. It's the same reason people vote for asshats and follow corrupt religious leaders. Our brains developed to follow a hierarchal power structure. How does a strong man leader act towards his woman? Now how does the jerk, azzhole guy act towards his woman?

You keep asking why don't they use their intelligence to override their hierarchal nature? I don't think it's possible for the majority of humans. For the minority who can it can be a frustrating existence. In the valley of the blind the one eyed man is not king, but insane. They don't even understand what he's talking about.

The history of science and learning is filled with the hierarchy suppressing intelligence. It's the lizard brain's hatred of change. Change brings the unknown and can topple the hierarchy. And when it does, a new hierarchy is established until the next time intelligence changes the game.
