Hey picard. I've just did a thread analysis with you and noticed that you have written quite a number of cynical threads expressing a specific viewpoint that women have it easier than men, etc...

You have to break this cycle of thinking as I don't think it's healthy for you, nor do I think it's healthy for people who are replying and indulging in these sort of negative threads. I'm not saying that you are wrong, but I think you should just mind your own tract rather than being preoccupied about other people's tracts.

But even if you are right, why are you posting so many negative threads and posting them on a site that's dedicating to seducing or winning with women?

I wouldn't say extinct but definitely 2nd class. No doubt, women are generally given preferential treatment in education from kindergarten through college. They are also given preference for desirable jobs and generally seem to be allowed to hold on to them. Women are given this preferential treatment by both men and women. While women have a tendency to discriminate against males in education and employment. It really is disadvantaging males on 2 fronts. Basically women are economically competing against males on a very unfair playing field.

Well, let's get the "woman" contingent straightned out then. You are talking about hot attractive women that guys would run after. I think it's unfair to exclude the word "attractive" or "hot" from the equation and say ALL women.

Same thing with guys, I'm sure attractive, confident, ladies-men probably also have an easier time getting jobs they don't deserve and seducing the pants of would be interviewers.

In my Real-Estate office I see no difference between genders. Some people just get lucky breaks, others have to work a bit harder. Totally gender blind.

Sometimes crap happens that skews your vision a bit and you make generalisations out of nowhere. Have to remain objective.

Ask yourself how many women become multi millionaires from a business they start in their garage and ask yourself how many men have done it. The fact that you have testosterone means you are better at business then a woman is. Its because the competitive nature of business is your domain. They belong in the kitchen and they should be raising children. This is how nature intended it.

How it works in America is say there is 10 slot opened for a desirable job. There might be 300 applicants are more, most of them white males .About 4 or 5 slots must be filled by women even if they're not the most qualified. 2 or 3 are filled by so-called "minorities" non-competively. This leaves maybe 200 or more wms competing for about 2-4 slots. So you are actually competing against other men for the few slots left, not women who are basically handed it. The human resources manager doing the hiring might likely be a woman and who knows what her criterion might be. Maybe she picks on a criterion that the male is married or maybe if he's obviously gay. Who knows.

That might seem like an exaggeration but if you actually dig into it, this scenario is very common. Most of the well paying and desirable jobs now are for the government. A lot of these agencies have a high percentage of women employed but few men. Some of these agencies will even prefer a 3rd world immigrant over a natural born U.S. citizen who is more qualified. I was testing for a position with GM and the only white guys there were the ones already hired back in the early 70's. It was primarily black women, a few white women etc. This is due to the government. Sure men are naturally more qualified for business, but very few managers are needed. It doesn't matter who is most qualified or the best. It's discrimination and even the best can't escape it's effects. Sure, you could start your own business but that's not easy and not everyone can have a successful business.

I come from South Africa. There are economic policies in South Africa that the liberated African government decided to introduce to "address the imbalances of the past"

We have two in particular. Affirmative action and Black Economic Empowerment.

Black Economic Empowerment are government regulations and charters issued to industry sectors. Those regulations state that a company has to have at least 50% of its management comprised of Black people. They have to give 26% ownership of their company to a black person or 26% minimum of the companies shares to black staff. They also have to do a set amount of business with other BEE companies and suppliers. I haveintentions of being self employed one day and I left the country because of this reason and because of the escalating crime rate.

AA fits into those guidelines. If you were not BEE complaint it becomes almost impossible to deal with major business on any level. Included in those BEE charters and AA programs were gender related employment issues.

I made a small fortune in that country and despite all those odds I carved out a niche for myself. I am not alone in this. I have family there who continue to run their own business and friends who are thriving despite these laws. I also have a lot of people I know there who complain about how tough these laws have made life for them.

There is no "capitalistic" country IN THE WORLD where labour has been regulated to this degree. When I hear Yanks, Europeans and Australians complaining about how hard they have it I cant help but shake my head at them. You live in first world countries at probably the best time in humanity. Even with all the economic **** going on you are better off then most people. You come from countries and live in an environment where you have the opportunities to really make a go of things. Improve the value you bring to an organisation and you NEVER struggle.

Instead, people sit back an blame government legislation for their own shortcomings. If its that big a deal, why not pack up and leave? I did it. Thing is, just like it takes balls to get ahead it takes balls to pack up and leave.

Fact is that people have this sense of entitlement. They feel they are owed a job or owed a living or owed opportunities. The laws that come in feed this. They also serve to provide excuses for those that struggle.

I dont buy it. The only people that struggle in first world countries are the people who are lazy or lack the vision to see the opportunities around them.

Problem is Scaramouche that they number so few. Whites are a minority group. We account for less then 12% of the population. Indians make up a paltry 5%. The majority are African. A whopping 75% of the countries population is African. The vast majority of which are uneducated. Instead of following the route Asia did by opening our country to multi nationals who would make use of cheap labour the unions ran the country into the ground. Unemployment of 26% (official, unofficial is over 40%) and more then 50% of the population now living below the breadline. Despite this, we have some of the most restrictive, racist labour laws in the world. Everyone thinks South Africa is a democracy. Its a one party country being run by communists that are no different to Robert Mugabe. We saw what happened to Zimbabwe. The same thing will happen to South Africa in due time.

Its has become institutionalised legal racism. Business owners expected to hand over 26% of their companies to African staff or investors. Often at a pittance. AA laws where management needs to consist of a fixed number of African people by a set date. There were mass retrenchments to implement these changes.

Violent crime and BEE/AA is the reason why so many South Africans are leaving. Most go to the UK, NZ, Aus, Canada and the USA now. You probably run into more and more of us every day, Aus is a popular destination for SA's because we share so many similarities in culture and lifestyle. We often dont talk about why we leave because I dont think its in our nature to complain. We get on with the job of doing what needs to be done.

Despite this, many who remain do very well for themselves. Despite laws that restrict career growth and self employment opportunities many people are making money hand over fist and have a very high standard of living. I had a very high paying job that allowed me to travel.

People who live in first world countries often dont realise how good they have it. Everything from access to education to a normally stable and sound banking system where credit is available. The entire system is not perfect but it is damn well better then most other places. If you seriously cannot make a go of it in countries like Australia, the USA or western Europe, then I have to question the individual.

Get off your arse and do what needs to be done. Skill up. Take a second job where you learn a valuable skill that you can use in your chosen career. Volunteer. Employ yourself. Stop waiting for **** to happen to you or for you.
