Are umbrellas okay style?

So I'm out today and it's raining so I brought a little umbrella I have with me so that I can keep my hair looking fresh. But is it bad style to be a man walkin about with an umbrella?

You guys need to quit being so insecure and worrying about sh1t. If you want to keep dry use the umbrella. You shouldn't care about what other people think about you. Who cares about what strangers on the corner think about you. I would rather keep dry to where I can game chicks during the day instead of looking like a mess because I was afraid to be seen walking with an umbrella. Why do you think they make them for? Guys who succeed with women do what they want to do and they do it.

Good point. I am not insecure, I'm just interested in the style aspect more than anything but I think your absolutely right.

I'm in Manhattan. When it rains or might rain, most men carry anything from a pocket umbrella to something that would cover a golf foursome.

Who or what gave you the impression that a man carrying an umbrella is "gay." Unless of course you're talking about a parasol, then it would be hella gay.

That's ya boy's Rex's umbrella and I paid $110 for it three and half years ago. It's been through Sandy and a severe NorEaster. After getting utterly frustrated with inferior quality of cheap $5, $10, and $40 umbrellas, I finanlly said "F*ck it," and I bought a high end umbrella.

I bought this umbrella at a shop called Rain or Shine in Manhattan, http://www.rainorshine.biz/ about two blocks away from Grand Central Terminal, mainly because if was ever broken, I could have it repaired, and believe me, it's one of the best purchases I've ever made in my life.

That's Winston Churchill and some other cat on their way to Parliament, considering how much it rains in England, I wouldn't think that men in the U.K. would think carrying and umbrella is gay.
