"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

OK the other day I was studying with a buddy of mine and this girl he knew and I knew, from the past, but not that well walked over and sat with us. So anyways we are studying and talking and whatever and I said two things that I'm wondering about.

1) Buddy was talking to girl about how her hair looked better with a clip in it up or something
Buddy: Doesn't her hair look better this way
Me: How was your hair before?
Her: It was down, and now its up with a clip
Buddy: What you didn't notice?
Her: Popeyes doesn't look at me like that
Buddy: So doesn't she look sexy like this?
Me: Sure.. yea

(Kinda noticed a slight change in her demeanor here)

2) Girl was talking about how she ended up having two dots or something (like pimples maybe) or something on her eyeballs from eating to much peanut butter(told her I dont think its from PB) and how she took them off by herself or something along those lines. So I go "Damn you got balls. If I had that I don't think I would have done that I would have gone to a hospital or something." Then my buddy says "You can't tell a girl she has balls..."

I dunno I'm pretty sure that this girl is at least somewhat attracted to me so i wasn't really trying to show direct interest like my buddy was doing.. talking about marrying her, saying he loved her,(jokingly since she has a BF. but still) and getting a little jealous when she first showed up and started talking to me even though she knew him way better than me.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

stop overthinking, doesn't really matter what you say to a women. But when you start overthinking stuff while you're talking they'll notice and thats the point where attraction turns into being nervous -> not intresting... And stop overthinking coversations afterwards too :p you can't change the past anyway. (I'm not saying don't ask for advice on conversation etc, just thinking too much about it isen't healthy ;))

i wasn't really trying to show direct interest like my buddy was doing..
well mission, accomplished

the first one; no
-basically seems like your friends pays more attention to the girl, then you do
- by your response; seems like your not interested in the girl

the second statement was weird, even though it's another way of saying you have guts and wtv, honestly what girl wants to be told they have balls?

but what was with your friends calling you out on it?
