"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

No more keyboard jockeying . Action is the place.
For example -
If your fat go to the gym
Failing class, study more
No girlfriend, talk to girls

.....Does anyone else feel that with the correct plan anything is possible? And of course with the right motivation by that person. And does anyone else think that if people cared less about picking up women it would make their life so much easier than dwelling on a woman they failed with? Wouldnt just not caring be a simple solution to those issues....... instead they stay on the same girl and we see countless posts about this. Im not calling anyone out, ive done this, but at a certain point I think they need to get into the not caring about women mindset.

Anyway, bottom line, are life's problems fixable with simple solution and plan? What do you guys think . Post it up here!

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

For the most part, yes. Then there are specifics to a problem where you may or may not be able to solve it with ANY solution. Try adding 3" to your height. Good luck. The secret is having good logic, balance, and realistic expectations in whatever you do with an objective mind.

Simple solutions work for a reason and there is no need to overly complicate your life to feel important, impress people you don't like, and spend money you don't have on things you can't afford.

It's up to the individual to make that change. God only helps those who help themselves.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

The problem is that there are beliefs about oneself, past experiences and habits that act as counter-motivators.

You're right, it should be that simple. But there are so many guys who literally don't know how to talk with women or people at large because they never had a male role model to emulate. That is the case for me. My dad taught me very little about life, and I grew up in a crazy house of 1 very rageful mother and 3 sisters. My dad was either working or passed out with a beer, so he was essentially absentee.

All those bricks in my foundation have made it extraordinarily difficult to overcome the limiting factors I mentioned above.

Your points are well-taken, though. We should strive to simplify and distill things down to a base level, because we do tend to overcomplicate things. Basically you are illustrating the principal of cause and effect.

I always say, be a cause in life, not an effect.

Good post.

This here is why your idea totally collapses. What you're saying in theory is true. You want a decent career? Go to school, get good grades. Want a nice body? Easy, eat right, work out. Girls? No problem, talk to a whole bunch and you'll get 1 or 2 simply by chance.

All this is true but as humans we can never really explain why somebody chooses to do something and why another individual for whatever reason will never do it.

This entire subject is like arguing destiny vs free will. Why would anybody choose to be fat? Why would anyone choose to be poor? Why would anyone choose to go sexless for 3 years if there are thousands of girls in front of him.

Simply put, who the hell knows. Nobody really knows why people do what they do. So you might say, duh st_99, its because these things are not easy, its not easy to work out, its not easy to study and its not easy to approach 100's of girls. I'd say you're right, its not easy so what exactly makes someone do the hard things and someone else not able to do the hard things? Is it your good parents that groomed you to do hard things or maybe you found a mentor? Maybe, but still you cant control who your parents are or if you stumble upon a mentor that is willing to help you out. Or is it in your DNA to strive for tougher things? That may be true also. Why am I here at my computer this morning and not at starbucks trying to get a new phone number? Cuz I dont feel like it, its uncomfortable damn it! :D

You see, its a deep topic.

Good points. Everything may have a cause or a string of causes, and as simple or complex as the cause(s) may be, that doesn't mean the subject has control or knowledge of them.

It reminds me of a science story I saw where a herd of cattle was cloned by scientitsts and observed. So they all had the exact same genetics and age, yet the herd developed a hierarchy from top to bottom just as a natural herd would do with members of different genetics of presumably different quality.

So say you want to get better at attracting the women you want. You're all ready tall, fit, well groomed etc and strive to be outgoing and put in the effort and try different things. What more can you do and what should you do more? Maybe the fundamental cause is your face is not attractive enough and your personality isn't extraverted enough. Maybe the cause is things you can't really change. And these things gave you a negative feedback loop all your life where only delusion would prevent it from having effect on you.

The point is maybe you are part of a system with various forces you have no control over, just for example, not an attractive enough face in a female hypergamous/winner- take- all system. Or maybe even, you are the "cloned bull" equal to the rest of the heard, even the alpha, and for reasons unknown the rest of the heard forces you to the bottom of the pack.
