You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.
Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.
She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.
Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.
You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.
And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.
Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.
The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.
Define "options" for that matter.vatoloco said:Define "faithful."
Heh, heh. Hence the question! It's all subjective.zekko said:Define "options" for that matter.
I personally wouldn't do it. As much as I'd like to put my penis inside other hot women, my Life experience has taught me that "what goes around, comes around." I don't want other dude's penis inside my girl once I start being exclusive with her.The question seems to assume you are in an exclusive relationship.
Would you trade your LTR in exchange for a roll in the hay with some hottie?
I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.
The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.
Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

"Men are only as faithful as their options" is a PUA saying.
It's implying that if a guy could have sex with attractive women, he wouldn't be with his wife, or girlfriend, or whatever.
This is probably true for some guys, but any guy who doesn't have his head up his rear should be able to find some girl to have sex with him if that's what he wants. I know for a fact I could get laid with little effort, that's not even an issue. In fact, I've been sorely tempted a few times, but ultimately my girlfriend is more important to me.
So no, this is not true, at least not for everybody. Not for the guys who are in LTRs because they want to be in them. Maybe for the guys who "have to" be in them.
I still think the intent of the original statement is more what I said and aimed at AFCs. But you bring up an interesting point.Backbreaker said:she's not a better option. my wife is the best option i know for me because she is exactly what i want. not only that we have a family and i very much cherish that, she's a very good mother.
for me to cheat, or to find a better option, I don't know what it would take. i am not saying that person does not exist. but if a sexier woman came along that hit every last piece of criteria and was head over heels for me, honestly i'd probably leave. but i seriously doubt that would happen.
Yeah, that is pretty clearly true.Mike32ct said:I think it's overly cynical. There are plenty of men that COULD cheat, but choose not to.
That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?
She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."
She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.
I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.
Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
i will agree with that. as long as my wife is doing what she is doing and is fufilling all my needs, I am pretty content where i am. i mean she isn't a car or antyhing lol.zekko said:Yeah, that is pretty clearly true.
The saying is an example of the bad/failed side of PUA theory. The side that puts everybody in the same box, paints everything in black and white, says all men are the same, all women are the same, etc. It allows for no individual differences.
That said, as Backbreaker alluded to, men are going to try to get the best deal in the dating market they can get. Just like hypergamous women. I do think that as long as a man is content, he is less likely to branch swing than a woman though. See how women are more likely to file for divorce.
lexington you along wtih a select few are my fav posters here, beucase all your post are thought provoking and well thought out.Lexington said:I think there are lots of guys that engage in extracurricular activities. They won't leave their wife, but they'll fvck their secretary on the DL. Some of them get caught, but some can keep it going.
JFK was apparently doing Marilyn Monroe, and it's just been revealed that he was having an affair with a 19 year old intern while he was president. But he maintained the outward image of a happy family man. We all know what happened to Clinton.
Tiger Woods had lots of mistresses while he was married to a pretty attractive Swedish babe. It eventually got out because he's a celebrity. But I'd imagine there are lots of successful guys who cheat around who don't get caught.
Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.
Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?
You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.
Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
It depends on the circumstance.zekko said:Let me be honest here:
I can't in good conscience say that getting a BJ is not cheating. It sounds like rationalization to say that it isn't. Would you consider some guy going down on your wife okay? Then you would also have to consider anything less than oral sex okay - french kissing, making out, etc, etc. No, something doesn't sound right here.

BB, you're one of my favorite posters on here but:backbreaker said:It depends on the circumstance.
That's way off. Every one night stand says diff.women do not have sex for the sake of having sex.
You can skip the expensive cars, the fancy clothes, and the endless gym selfies. Completely unnecessary.
I used to freeze the second a beautiful woman looked my way. Frustrated. Awkward. Watching other guys walk away with the girl while I stood there tongue-tied.
Then I discovered 22 simple rules that rewired my entire dating life. The anxiety vanished. Conversations flowed effortlessly. Women started chasing me for a change.
These rules trigger a woman's subconscious attraction switches. And you can start using them tonight.
