Well, although the tradition says that men age better, and I can agree that a few wrinkles and gray hairs doesn´t damage a man´s looks as it does for women. It seems to me that men, at least these days, age faster than women. You see much more wrinkles around eyes for instance in young men that in young women (and no it´s not just because of their make up), many lose hair and get grays early.
What is funny is that I read some studies which concluded that men were designed to live longer than women, and it makes sense to me.
Despite the abuse of alcohol, smoking, sun, poor diets these days (which is common to women), it seems that men also abuse from sex and masturbation, the latter due to easier access to porn.
We usually hear that sex/porn are super safe and healthy from western doctors, and usually the people who recommend reducing or abstaining from sex are religious nuts. But... if you look for Eastern societies, specially chinese, and other traditions they say that men should reduce ejaculation, because it contains a lot of nutrients that are "stolen" from you, even if these quantities lost in ejaculation are not that great (some say they are), we don´t know whether the effects are big or not.
If you also search a little bit, you´ll see that sex/masturbation are responsible for raising (and a lot) your DHT levels, and further research will show you that this byproduct of testosterone can be responsible, for hairloss, skin problems e.g acne, wrinkles etc... Which could explain the premature aging in lots of guys.
For me, it was always a bit intuitive that I shouldn´t do it too much, I always felt with lack of energy, memory and thinking not so clear after sex/Mb. And I think that nothing is more taxing for a man´s body than sex/mb.
Also I really doubt that we evolved to make sex with the regularity we do to day, males biology was majorly defined thousands of years ago, in a time you had to work a lot for food and sex. Today we have it all for granted.
So summing this up, could this excess, I repeat excess, of sexual activity be responsible for premature aging in man?
Ps: 1) I don´t know if dr wilson is a real dr, but the stuff you have on his site is founded in many others.
2) of course some of you, know guys that have lots of sex, and still look young, genetics, of course play a role. The same could be said from skinny people who can eat all they want without becoming fat.
