"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Anybody know of any ways to build up your confidence to approaching? I've been doing it for a while, but I still get nervous? Anybody got any tips that can help me boost my confidence in this field. Once I get a conversation started I can usually end up opening them up, but it's just the whole approach thing.

Cheers

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

when you first start it, everything is new to you. and you're scared as hell. after a while, you're not in the unknown realm anymore, and it gets easier although you're still afraid. you must keep it up long enough, until the day that you really KNOW what you're doing when approaching an HB9, then its easy and its even fun. approaching is like anything else, like swimming, skiing, riding a bike, etc. if you get to a point that you really know you can manage any situation, that you're skilled enough to actually be able to charm most of the girls you want, then what should you really be afraid of? even if she didn't give you her #, most of the times you're absolutely certain that she liked you, and she might have her own reasons not to give you #. but you're certain that you did great. just think about it, what are you afraid of now? isn't it that you're afraid of saying the wrong thing and acting in the wrong way and she may get p!ssed at you?
an HB on the street is like a dangerous device that you just don't know how to work with. and your fear stays with you till the day that you realy know how to use the device to your own good, be it getting laid or creating love!
you can't be just confident. confidence comes with knowledge and experience and skill.

Have you ever been successful opening them up after approaching them while not confident? So to speak, you are in great fear of approaching, you're confidence levels for approaching are so so low, and somehow you get a conversation started, and then you open her up, maybe get an e-mail and a phone number and are able to get in touch with her after several days, arrange to hang out together. YES or NO?
