Central idea of this app could be global community help and immediate response. You could type in general chat:
"guys I see this chick I want to approach, I have no clue what to say"
in people pitch in and help and encourage
2 ways,
1. Manual = by sliding your finger to move the slider button to increase progress from 1% to 100%
2. Automatic = more of a countdown clock on the back end but it looks like a progress/load bar on the front end

1. the bar indicates how far you are from completing your goal/task/achievement. And your followers can here can watch your progress LIVE. Yes.. LIVE.. Your followers will see your animated progress bar move up as you adjust your progress.
2. You can add progress notes. = an action or event marking a significant change or stage in development.
EXAMPLE:
Progress name = Trying to be more confident
( using MANUAL UPDATE MODE, where u have to manually update your progress )

It could be useful for personal trainers or life coaches, though.
Right, it may or may not work with REAL friends. It's kind of like twitter. The people u are following there aren't your real friends. But for this app, it could be for both real and internet friends.
