Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

"He's my best friend"
In reference to their husband, boyfriend, partner.

My cousin's bride said those same word's in her wedding speech late last year.
"Your marriage is doomed" is the first thing I thought when I heard that crap.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Yep I do because its a joke... Yeah you were just "friends" sure... Some people it may have worked for, but if guy wants heart ache when you are interested in someone by being her friend then he has no emotional maturity or self respect.

Correct.

Just as men, women need a best friend to grab drinks and bullsh!t with. When your only best friend is the source of happiness, drama, entertainment and all others brewed together, that is a recipe for disaster.

I'm with Backbreaker here. It's "best friend", not "just friends".
Seriously, if she wasn't your best friend, why the heck would you be living with her? If you're that close to each other, you damn well better be enjoying each other's complany.

It's just a way of looking at things. My best male friend, I've known forever, but there's no way I'd want to live with him as a roommate. I'm too territorial, I could never live with some dude.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

But she became your wife and lover BEFORE your best friend. Men and women cannot be just friends, any woman who just wants to be friends is rejecting you.

Once again, it's "best friend", not "just friends".
How is she just a friend if you're banging her?

she really didn't. we met when i was 24 and we didn't get married until i was 28. we were pretty good friends by the time we were married.

she really is my best friend. she gets my inside jokes, she understands my moods, she understands why my moods are the way they are, she knows when i'm not ****ing around and when i am ****ing around, she knows when i need my space without even saying anything to me. she gets me and i get her. i know when and what battles to pick with her, i know when to actually call her on her BS or when to just let her rant, etc. you cannot be married and yoru wife not be your best riend and have it last. if you view your marriage as a long term sex partner your marriage is not going to last. i mean there is a lot more to marriage than sex. how we manage money, how we manage the house, how we manage each other, our son, each other's families, each other's friends, her hobbies, my hobbies, what we like to eat, what we like to listen to, **** our sleeping habits.

If the woman you want to spend most of your time with doesn't become your best friend somewhere along the line, you should just commit to spinning plates until you can't get it up any more.

You'll never make it.

I have found that you are "best friends" just long enough for them to learn all your weaknesses, and how to kick your ass with them.

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

I had to lol at this, very true. Don't ever admit any flaw or weakness, even if it's obvious don't ever act like you realize it is.

They WILL use it against you.
