I was looking at this video in which women were talking about a good place to meet "good men", and one of them brought up the idea of a steak house, since they are the kind of place that men with money like to go eat with other men (i.e., no women around), where a woman could just sit at the bar nursing a glass of wine and make eye contact.
As for myself, I'd prefer to buy USDA Choice Tenderloin (i.e., New York Strip) for $12/# and cook it up rather than go out to get USDA Prime for $50/#, and save the cash.
