I look at a computer all day at work and I feel like crap afterwards.


My eyes hurt and I am zonked out.


Does anyone know the differences between LCD's and regular monitors regarding this?


How does an LCD computer screen compare to a tv?

LCD is exceptionally better.
For the time being, fiddle around with the display settings on your monitor (refresh rate, resolutions)

i felt like that for the first month on the job, but afterwards it was fine. we have the lights turned off in half of the room, and i have my screen toned down a bit so it's not so bright.

get a glare screen if you have a CRT monitor. LCD change the resolution and refresh rates to your liking and make sure to use the Cleartype feature with windows.

Sit a little further back from your monitor as well.
