My debit info was stolen the last time I ordered something so I'm looking into these. How do they work and what are the fees like?

I just want something that I can buy from the store, load some money onto, use online, then forget about or throw away. Does this exist?

Prepaid Visas have been around for 20 years. There are a rack of them next to the cash register at big stores like Wal-Mart. They activate them at the register, but some cards have an extra authorization required for online purchases.
