I'm interviewing for a private equity entry level position within a couple of days, and I was wondering if anyone on sosuave was in the field and could provide me with some hands on tips?

I work within M&A. Current project is buy side due diligence on a distressed manufacturing company. Been working quite closely with senior management on understanding the business and the quality of their cash flow projections. I've had to feedback our analysis to the buyer, a private equity fund. Should be able to answer a few questions since a lot of what I do is quite similar to PE at the junior level.

Do you have any previous finance experience?

The interview will be very different depending on what the answer is.
