I dont really post in this forum anymore, because ive been pretty busy lately, but i just wanted to ask a quick question.

Anybody on this forum going for there masters or phd?

or is there anyone on this forum that actually completed a masters or phd?

Just curious because I plan on going for a masters in abnormal psych, and would like some advice on what I should do in order to get there.

Im majoring in psych and philosophy at U of T by the way.

Could one of you guys give me some comprehensive advice? It would be of GREAT help :)

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

Hey i can send you some links depending on what exactly you need. Working on getting a phd soon. First off if your looking for advice take time to plan workloads. Work than rest or take a walk or do something silly like eat ice cream somewhere. Don't let school overwhelm you to much. Plan out as much as you can. From their try to team up with some folks learning the same thing you are and create time each week to give each other notes for each other.
Hope this helps some

I have a medical master's. My advice may not be specific to your field. Generally speaking for science or social science fields you will need a strong GPA, strong GRE, and at least 1-2 years of internship or research assistant work in your field. Psych may be a little more relaxed than medical or hard sciences.
