How are these? Do you they actually tell you when to change lanes and stuff like that?

Are they any good, cheap ones?

Garmin Nuvi 660. This thing is a GOD send. I use it a lot when I travel. I like this model a lot because instead of the older version GPS units that said "turn left 100 ft"....the newer Garmins say "turn left on South Main Street, 100 ft".

I like how the newer GPS units speak the street names and city names. My Garmin also shows the nearest restaurants, movie theatres, gas stations, and tells speed, distance, ect ect.

I bought it 6 months ago at Costco $200.

I use to sell these at a store. Get a Garmin nuvi 200 or a 200w(wide screen) for something basic and cheap. Yes they are awesome and work very well.

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

Wow, that's crazy that it tells you specific stuff likes when to change lanes and stuff. No wonder it seems like everyone and their mother has one.

Any good ones under $100? I mean one that's really specific in what it tells you?

it is rare for a GPS to be under $100 unless it is on sale. check slickdeals.net. my GPS does its thing but don't always rely on it. look before you change lane. plus, it takes forever for the GPS to be loaded (5-15 minutes). go get one if you hate maps.

dude I OWNed several........NUVI are good, textar is okay, tom tom is cool.

THEY SHOW YOU LIVE WHERE YOU CURRENTLY ARE VIA MOVING GRAPHICAL MAP, THEY SHOW YOU WHERE AND WHEN TO TURN IN VOICE AND VISUAL PROMPTS.

you can get a list of the streets in advance or just follow the live promps.

It has save this location and point of interests like find the nearest gas station, hotel, food place, etc

it tells you estiamted time of arrival, reroutes you around traffic jams, how fast you are going.

THEY DONT CHARGE YOU A MONTHLY FEE which is nice like cell phones.

FUTURE MODELS will include GPS that you can take off road when hiking...currently GPS are just moving road maps.

costs..........100 bucks to 700 bucks..........I say get the widescreen.

Lol just a little convict humor...seriously though a bunch of my friends are on house arrest with ankle bracelet's with GPS. The police designated two places they can be. Home and work. If they spend too much time outside of either, johnny po po puts out an APB!

Stay out trouble kiddies!

Do all GPS devices tell specific things or is it just the new ones? I always end up in wrong lanes so that feature in particular(saying to change lanes) woud be a Godsend. Do all GPS units say about lane changes?
