Anyone ever just lose interest?

I just turned 40 and can say by all accounts since I found this site my life has been a success. I am making great money.. I have zero bills and am financially secure. At 40 I’m in the best shape of my life and things should be looking up.

I’ve recently lost interest in the game. In my 20’s and 30’s I was like a rabid dog.. loved pulling tail and now there is zero desire. My buddy’s still want to go out but I can’t pull myself to even give it a go. I come home... make my meals for the next day... workout and go to bed. I have no idea what has happened?

When we get really focused and disciplined some of that other stuff can fall off.

When you chased tail it was probably a huge priotity. So much that it hurt the rest of your life and goals.

Do what your doing but allocate a few slivers of time for this activity. It's like riding a bike. It'll come back when you use it.

You found a higher purpose which doesn't revolve around women. Perfectly normal and you are in a phase. There will come a time when you do want to meet quality women that can compliment and enhance your life. Right now it isn't that time for you I'm guessing.

However, this might also be the best time to actually go out with women as you're totally not into it and thus will be your normal self and IDGAF mentality will be the strongest. Gals will sniff out that you're not desperate and have a purpose besides women. But obviously if you don't even have the drive to go on an actual date then this will prove wasteful for you until you can get back into it mentally.

Unfortunately, I'd say you have 5-8 years max to stay marketable to attract the upper tier women so you can't or shouldn't just sleep on it for a long time either.

Yes, experiencing it now and enjoying it. I feel more in control of my life. I know it will come back soon (these feelings never last for me). Making the most of it and enjoying it while I can.

Yes but it's not out of the blue, I just remember very specific events that make me want to do basically anything but go chase women

They'll stalk you if your setup right. They always knew they were absorbing our time and energy.

For me it kind of comes and goes. There are times when I have a lot of interest, particularly if I'm out and see women that are my type, but then there are times where I see some behaviour or some bull**** going on that totally puts me off and makes me lose interest in women for a while.

With regard to any particular woman, I have surprised myself sometimes by how quickly I lost interest when I noticed that they had bad breath, dirty habits, aged a bit or gained some weight. Any kind of manipulation is also a huge turnoff for me to the point that I totally lose interest almost instantly.

enjoy it while it lasts. You're living life on your terms and enjoying peace. Wish my interest had waned at 40. Im sure at some point the urge will come back but just enjoy the serenity for now and don't worry about it.

40 to 50 is the power years. this is the time you can do anything. it's great to chill, but don't overdo that. if thirst does not drive you make a reason to get into a mixed group at least a few times a week. enjoy watching/interacting and be at peace as its all no big deal. you are now that guy that before was unbeatable, enjoy it.

What inspires you now?

Peace... if that even makes sense? I get texts from old hookups and cringe at the thought of even exerting any energy engaging them. I find inspiration in working out... reading... becoming more self sufficient and taking on different household projects I would have previously paid someone to do. There was no trigger for this it just seemed to happen.

yeah... I started testosterone optimization last summer... last blood test I was at 1500... maybe having Supra physiological levels have driven me to this.

I'm pretty far away age wise, but in the best moments of my life, I see women as a spice. Not needed, but they help with the taste.
In the end, as long as you're happy with your life, women/career/others matter less.

Women and dating can take up A LOT of valuable time.

Lately, maybe past 6-12 months (after being in a 9 yr LTR and then dating for about the past 4 years) I've realized it's largely just not worth it. I have a 40 year old HB7 and a 26 year old HB8 both very interested but when I think about all the planning, the actual date, maybe cleaning the house, adjusting my eating, workout, and dog running schedule--to just have a date for a few hours, even with sex, still doesn't interest me all that much.

I'd honestly rather do other things.

You probably can. Certain foods kill estrogen and others raise test. Bodyfat converts test to estrogen. Certain thoughts and situations raise test. Others lower test. Certain excercises raise test. Confident a man can exceed a 1000 with planning.

Psychology and fitness raise test and if your in unfavorable psychology with a lack of fitness it lowers it.
