Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

this ***** Bonnie is freaking rutheless.

Clyde would have been okay if not for trying to make this devil girl happy.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

It will end up getting panned due to portraying a woman negatively, though that won't be the ostensible reason given. Women do not like watching negative portrayals of women as the main character unless the character in question is cartoonish, clownish or there is some positive female foil they can identify with in an equally prominent role. There's not in B&C, so it will annoy the female audience. This is why we don't have nearly as many female antiheroes or realistic villains in movies and tv as male antiheroes and such.
