Anybody Going to the Roosh Meetup

It's happening in Canada on February 6th. I've contemplated on going, but I'm not sure if that would be a risk or a benefit

What I'm seeing is that the meetup takes place on the same day across Canada. It's unlikely that Roosh will be there, but there seems to be someone designated as a leader.

The news articles have been spreading like wildfire. One of the women who's interested in dating me just shared it and posted this:

I say a bunch of us girls go down there with cameras and take pictures of all these ass hats. The we can post them on social media for all to see.

This thing is getting a bit too much publicity. If I went down there, it would probably be in my best interest to wear some sort of disguise. I'm betting the media is going to be there as well.

That is his core agenda. The media has taken the rape statement out of context, blown it up, twisted it, and has identified it as his mission. It's pretty much the same thing as taking Sosuave and labelling it as a message forum which promotes violence and hatred towards women.

Yeah its really quite crazy, with even the slightest bit of fact checking you can see the article they are quoting is satirical.

The event is essentially a bunch of men meeting up, getting a couple drinks, talking about neomasculinity, and self improvement, nothing more.

That is the problem, FACTS are loosing their place as the default language spoken world wide, just like English in America.

Take any situation and say "ok, facts no longer matter. Logic no longer applies. Fact is fiction and fiction is fact. If it FEELS like what you want to say, say it, and it will be come truth of this new reality", you have 21st century female mentality and some males too. It's out of control.

If anyone actually things that Roosh or any of his followers are "Pro-Rape" then misandry is a lot worse than I thought. This is a group of men getting together peacefully and I've seen nothing but threats of physical violence from feminists, male sh!tlibs, and SJWs.

The "legal rape" was an essay done in the vein of Jonathan Swift's "A Modest Proposal." The idea is that if rape was ever legal on private property, women would have to become more personally accountable and responsible for putting themselves in potentially threatening situations and environments rather than relying on authorities after-the-fact. Men intrinsically know that they wouldn't leave their brand new sportscars on 8 Mile in Detroit at 3 am with the keys on the front seat and expect the cars to be there when the sun comes up; they don't have to defend themselves by saying "don't blame the victim" because they understand not to enter compromising situations when avoidable.

Yet the hivemind feminist liberal media has used their FEELS to make Roosh look like the Antichrist.

^^^ Exactly my point above. When I first looked at this thread I searched for "Roosh" in Google. I had honestly never heard of the guy. Hit #1 was from the Washington Times referencing Roosh as a "legal rape blogger". Of course I really don't believe that he is now that I have heard a few more FACTS in MY reality. But in THEIR reality, he supports rape, and the media even backs it which makes it more ''TRUE''. " Fiction has become fact. "

Karen Straughn and the Honey Badger group dissect the entire hour documentary on their YouTube channel, that's the only way to watch the whole thing in America. Reggie Yates could not be reasoned with - he was "amazed" at how "angry" men are. The Honey Badgers note that the clips of the Roosh speech shown in the documentary were badly edited to make it appear Roosh was saying things that he actually wasn't. And I think at least one of the people Yates interviewed asked to independently document the interview as well and was refused - never a good sign.
