Hey, I was thinking of asking my friends girlfriend if she had any friends she could set me up with. I've never been set up before, and would like some insight on what other people think about it, and how it turned out.
 

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

I think that getting set up is fine if the girl who's doing the setting up is the type that you like, since her friends are likely to be like her. I had a girl offer to set me up with her friends, but the girl wasn't my type, so I turned down the offer. Plus, it was the girl doing the setting up that was actually interested in me, using the whole set-up thing as an excuse (though she'd never admit that, it was obvious).

All the time I make it a habit. When one of my friends hooks up with a girl. First words out of my mouth are do you have any friends that look just like you.

I always do it so do my friends and my family.

Don't worry about being seen as a loser or a guy with no skills.


I always have girls because I make it a daliy routine, just like brushing your teeth.
