Any truth to the older guy/younger girl thing?

I realized, that I have nothing to offer a woman my age or a little younger. Sure, I'm decent looking, well-dressed, outgoing, etc., but that isn't exactly anything hard to get for a 6 or better.

I'm wondering, is there any truth to demonstrating higher value with a woman in the 18-21 range? I mean, you're the cute older guy, with (presumably) more life experience and insight, so instead of just being any other 6-7ish male, you're a good looking older man that her friends will get jealous of.

I'm wondering if anyone has experienced this. Not looking for opinions from people who haven't experienced it directly.

you should try to date girls at least 5 yrs younger than you because it financially makes sense. Let's say you are 28 and she is 23. You both started working at age 21. She worked for 2 yrs and you worked for 5. During those 7 yrs you worked you spent money going to party, bars etc. To meet different women etc. Girls on the other hand don't have to worry too much about money as usually the guy or guys pay for most things. She saved a sum opf money during those 2 yrs equivalent to your 5-7 years of savings.

It only makes sense to date younger women.
You gotta be cool though, so the girls will appreciate your experience etc. Also u will fit in with her group. U don't want to be the old fart that stands out.

No, she didn't. She spent all of that on a new cell phone every 6 months while racking up a huge credit card bill while renting an overly large 2 bedroom apartment that she lives in alone with a cat or a little yappy dog. She has a bunch of candles and likes to drink wine/champagne while watching american idol.

I managed to save over $100k in 5 years of working along with $50k in a 401k equivalent so just point to this chick that has $200k+ in savings at 23.

You don't date younger women for financial reasons. WTF?? You date them because they are hotter and not ruined by the world.

I've had a few hit on me in the 19-25 range, but Seems I couldn't date them for long. I'm not looking to relive my "" real life" days,so I let them go. Course I'm talking 26 years difference in age,so it's not totally applicable

Yeah well I pretty much only date 19-30, and that's about 20 years younger than me. Can't get enthusiastic about 'mature' women so much. To much baggage of all sorts.

Young, old, they're all women. They were all girls once. I think life experience is the biggest factor, not really the age. I rarely ask girls ages anymore but am sometimes surprised when I find out the 25 year old I think I'm talking to is actually a dumb 30 year old, or on the flipside, a really clever 20 year old etc. I can never tell.

I was out playing rec sports yesterday. there was a girl there who was 16 and came right up to talk to me and literally talk to me for a half an hour. she also on another occasional did this. she talks about sex a majority of the time and I got her phone number with no problem.

another case where I was working with kids this summer. really cute 16 year old was working with me. within a few days she was play punching me and teasin me all the time. I got her number to without any "weird" problems. these not not your average little girls. these women are developed and desired girls.

now I didnt do anything with any of them but being 10 years older than them must mean I still am a cool guy. I have noticed now that I am my age I get all women of all ages, race, ect to interact with me. maybe it is because I fit the bad boy style with tattoos and look intimidating ( I get it all the time, like a hot girl knows she is hot) also...........

I dont dress in suit jackets with jeans and dress shoes. I dont wear long sleeve dress shirts with jeans and wear them gay ass skecher shoes. so maybe they see I am not one of them old "mature" dressing guys. I have on athletic wear a lot. nike, jordan.

just look at hot milf, you dont want her wearing what your grandmother and or mothers wears. you have to stay in style and still fit your age.


If I was wearing skinny jeans, chuck taylors, urban outfits like soulja boy I would look ridiculous.

When I was 30 I dated a 19 year old. Met her online. She seemed excited about it. I dumped her because I got bored. Depends entirely on the girl, some young women like older men, some don't. There's no substitute for hitting on tons of chicks and finding out.

Hilarious and so true. I started dating a girl who's just out of high school, and the conversation usually sucks. She's pretty intelligent but there's just an intellectual disconnect b/c of life experience. Looks, body, fun, and not being "ruined by the world" are totally the reasons to date a younger girl. Finances shouldn't even come in play.
