"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Theres this beautiful female working at a pharmacy near me.

We have met once before so we know each others names but thats it.

I plan on going in and when we make eye contact im gonna smile give a small hearty laugh and say out loud "this is the first time I smiled at a drug dealer" and laugh.

Is it fine or should I say "you are the prettiest drug dealer ive ever seen"

Give some feedback or a C&F variation of this

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

it'll work depending on her personality, which we do not know so we won't be able to tell you

can she take a joke? is she really serious?

Both lines are AFC.

"this is the first time I smiled at a drug dealer"
"you are the prettiest drug dealer ive ever seen"

You're putting her on the pedestal. i.e. she's a special snowflake and gets a smile. You lower yourself and it comes across as desperate.

Don't compliment her, she's a hired gun and is paid to be nice to customers and that's why she's smiling.

If you want to open her go with something she hasn't heard before. e.g.

You: "Where do you hide your AK47?" (curious, serious, secretive look)
Her: "What??"
You: "Your gun, ya know... to protect your stash" (continue secretive / serious)
Her: She'll either give you a "you're insane look" or play along

There's your opener.... carry on.

The first thing you need to do is to "D" - Demonstrate value. Do this by forging a prescription for your sick grandmother, thus demonstrating your value as a loving grandson. The next steps involve engaging her physically, nurturing her dependence, neglecting her emotionally, inspiring hope, and then separating entirely. Here is a more detailed explanation of the entire process:

EDIT: Or the more simple way is to just go in and buy a box of magnum condoms, thus demonstrating you have a monster dong

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

My money is on the OP's opener if this fits.
You don't need to try have a style or perfect opener. As long as you are comfortable, genuine, positive, charming then it's all good.

I personally haven't used an "opener" in years.

I like to take my time with Hired Guns. I want them to display interest in ME before I invite them out for a drink.

I still maintain that the best approach is to smile, make strong eye contact, and say "hello." Good things usually start from there.
'hello' is an opener.

if you can carry a 'hello' off with a smile and nothing more then power to you.

i agree that a 'hello' and a smile is the best opener you can open with.

Good posts everyone.

She is a bit on the serious side and seems like doesnt laugh much, but she and I also know each other from before so it wont be a purely first interaction that I need to start with obly a hello.

So I figured saying something different would have broken the ice better I guess.

Still havent seen hed yet tho, going again in a while
