***Any tips for Hawaii?***

I have a lot of family in hawaii and im going in a few days for 1 week. Its on the big island. Just wondering if you guys had any tips for me since I am almost 18. I do have a GF but we're having problems and weve decided to not talk to eachother while im away. Is this a good idea? Thanks guys!
