Any teachers here?

I knew a techer in my high school, Ms or Mrs Schamer. I even forgot what subject. She was teacher for a long while, she was in her 50s if not 60s. She was making 60k a year.

Low paying job. People do it for reasons other than money.

In high end districts, teachers make 80K to 90K per year with benefits, but that is after thirty or more years of service.

I know this because I wanted to become a teacher, but switched over to business and Philosophy with a goal of becoming a motivational speaker.

like someone said, you got to do it for other reasons than money.

60k is good enough if your single with no family, ie. straight out of college. can someone find a chart with how much money you need to survive with a certain number of ppl living in a household, i found one before but i cant find it anymore
