I've always taken the humble/modest approach whenever a girl from my past comes up to me and says, 'WC you've changed so much!'

And it's a lot of validation on a personal level as well.

First, check my username.

In my history, as I reflect on over 30 years of chasing tail, I see past (and sometimes still present) behaviors that fit the AFC mold, while at the same time see things I did that fit squarely within the RedPill/DJ mold.

One thing that happened to me was that when I ran into PUA/RP/DJ stuff, a good deal of it was familiar... for good and ill. I saw stuff I did right and was shown/explained why it worked. I also was shown stuff that I did terribly and was embarrassed for my past self at times. I could tell you stories.

Learning this stuff has helped me refine my game greatly, though I'm not always as successful as I'd like to be (who is?). But 2013 was my "best" year yet in terms of number of lays (15) and plates (currently 3 but about 7 all year).

Plate spinning and avoiding the rot of oneitis are two major lessons I've learned in the last few years.

When I see newbs come on here pining over some lost cause and/or making predictable mistakes, I see shades of my past sometimes.

But the same is true when I read some FR where a guy makes a totally ballsy move and it works.

I've been on both sides of that fence, which, I think, gives me a good perspective when examining other people's stories.

The frustrating part on a board such as this is when a newb comes in for advice and all sort of experienced guys give the same advice: she's trash, next, move on, low value woman, you're deluding yourself, NC now!, etc., and the guy simply cannot accept the collective wisdom here. Most of that advice from experienced guys comes from just that...experience! and not keyboard jockeying.

The ONE good thing about having past AFC traits/behaviors while participating in forums like this is that you can now better see new interactions in a better light, avoid past mistakes, cut your losses sooner, and so on.

Not really. I had no problem attracting women. The problem was me acting like an AFC when I had them. Needy, whiny, constantly seeking validation etc.

Dated a playboy model for 5 years until she dumped me for being a AFC backsliding phaggot. We were damn close to gettin married until i went full beta retard. Haven't talked for about 2 years except for a few random flings when I was oneitised. Now it has been a solid year no contact, I'm banging her friends, am the f*ckin man, and she is coming back around perplexed by my DJness. She is tryin to get more involved in my social circle and I am a bit worried that I'm going to end up banging her and ruining her current relationship with an uber beta so I'm trying to keep her at arms length.

Not gana lie tho - the few encounters we've had she been bringing up the past HARD and trying to reestablish rapport on more than just a friend level. Zero validation, all well wishes, and all plutonic no f*cks given from me.

She is the one who drove me to the redpill and I am proud to say that I look at her no different than any other chick. In fact, it is an amazing experience to realize the difference from the before and after AFCness with the same girl. I can control this b*tch easier than any chick even tho she saw my full blown phaggotry years ago. Origional mission accomplished and now I could care less about having her.

In addition for the sake of the thread - I got laid all the time while an AFC - it's the relationship and attachment that f*cked me up.

I was pretty close to being a natural however I didnt know the dynamics between attraction and rapport. Nothing was conscious or engrained and often times i would cave on sh*t test, manipulation, and being scared to lose the girl. Now that ima redpill I'm a straight beast and the only reason I get left or dumped is because I couldn't be caught. PERIOD

Absolutely. It was the apex of my "ahah!" Moment (besides having girls swoon over me at will) and validates everything I've learned and grown to be since finding the truths. I am thankful eternally for the experience and the man I've become because of it.

Could care less but I'm assuming pretty good as shes more and more persistent. Her looks are starting to fade so I question her motives besides wanting a piece of the new guy she doesn't know anymore. Regardless, she just another chick that I don't need.

Well I guess ill break it down for the hell of it since the office is dead.

As mentioned, my problem was never getting laid - I had a few tricks up my sleeve but was by no means red pill aware. We were freshmen in college - I chased her a lot in the beginning bc she was stupid hot and fun. I was determined. She f*cked me around abit but eventually It worked, I cant really explain it - I surely didn't pull her with raw attraction and game but the more we hung out the more she was into me and I the same. We fell for eachother. Then I turned into an a**hole frat star and it kept her around my finger. I Had huge status and she was by far top 10 hottest chicks on a campus of 40k which boosted my ego even further.

Throughout college, she was co-dependent on me the entire time living my life and our rapport and personalities clicked hard. She isolated any outside life for the most part. She was essentially queen of my frat house. I knew her whole life revolved around me - anyone she knew, anything she did, was because of me. I took her for granted, cheated on her a bunch, by default was an a**hole because of it and knew I could be. She was a feisty little BPD dimepiece - Most guys were afraid to even talk to her but I knew how to tame her and she ate it up.


However, once we graduated we started spending WAY too much time together and that's when my happiness started revolving around her, I got soft, was afraid to lose her and things fell apart about a year and a half after college. I was co-dependent. It was a compete loss of attraction for me due to my pedestalization, neediness, lovey dovey sh*t, and was one of those love but not in love things. I was GUTTED AND DEVESTATED and made every mistake in the book post breakup. But looking back on it now - it was the best thing to ever happen to me.


I don't think being an AFC means you can't EVER get girls or get laid. It just means you don't understand the dynamics behind things. You are frustrated because you don't get it. I guess I just fell more on the natural side vs the forever alone side of the spectrum but eventually the inner phaggot came out.
