The above title (and basis of my screen name) is derived from Marilyn Manson's album Antichrist Superstar. Though the album goes into a number of topics, the major theme of it is 'transformation.' It is about a man, whose various life experiences (from sex, drugs, and general depravity binges in New Orleans, to discovering his Grandfather's basement filled with women's pantyhoes and bestaility porn) aid in shaping him into the man (or monster, depending on who you ask) that he is today (which, in this case, would be 1996). When thinking about it from this angle, the handle not only suited me, but every single member of this forum. After all... we're not here for our health, to waste our time. Granted, we may find other uses for this forum in the long run, but in the beginning we are all here for one reason and one reason alone... to get some ass.
After having plenty of time to reflect on the topic, and being that it is currently four in the morning, I figure what better time to slowly re-intergrate myself back into the high school forum that discussing my favorite topic and hopefully helping some people in the process?
So, now that all of the newer people (who mostly dominate the forum now) have been formally introduced to the person typically known as 'The Matrix: Reloaded', let's get to the good **** shall we?
As I have grown older, I'll be honest with you... I hate taking advice from men about women. Because to be quite honest, even most of the guys who know a lot about women (I like to throw myself in that pile) are only at the tip of the iceberg. So, what I like to do now is generate theories about women on my own and then share these theories with the few select women in my life, who's opinions about women I actually respect. Because let's face something else... most women know **** about themselves.
With that said, I now present you with a few things that I have learned recently, most of which may (or may not) come as a surprise to you.
Looks... can't hurt, but will not guarantee the pants:
Now, do not get me wrong. Being the so called (as I have been countless times) the 'metrosexual' that I am, I believe that how you present yourself to women is very, very important. I'm not telling you what to wear, how to wear it, what to do with your hair, or suggesting that you have as many lotions, body scrubs, or shower gels that I have (don't ask), but what I am telling you is this... the way you present and take care of yourself tells a woman a lot about how much self-worth and confidence you have (which is why it is assumed that men like Brad Pitt have a lot of confidence).
That being said, the bottom line is Brad Pitt (in spite of the way he looks) would not be ****ing women like Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston if he was not famous... period. And I am about to tell you why. You see... men and women are two entirely different creatures when it comes to attraction (in a variety of ways). Men are visual creatures, ergo, the better the visual is (how hot the girl is), the higher our attraction may tend to be. This is the reason why you often see that hot ass girl with men drooling all over her even though she has the brain of a paper towel (Jessica Simpson comes to mind). Because of our nature, we are more prone to gloss over things like personality or intelligence if a girl has a nice rack, and pretty blond hair.
Women, however, are very, very different. Granted, good looks may make her more likely to choose you for a date than say, the geek who sits in the front row... but I'm not talking about getting dates here, I'm talking about either getting ass, or getting a relationship, and quite frankly... that's an entirely different ballgame. Unlike men, women are stimuli oriented. Women need to be touched, teased, (mentally and physically), and manipulated (moreso on a psychological level but physical as well) to become attracted enough to a man that they are willing to **** him. In Brad Pitt's case the 'stimuli' is easy. He's famous, he's rich, and movies (in general, especially in many roles that he has played) tend to evoke a very strong emotional response in people. Great movies, 'grab' you, and for a moment, you forget that it's real...
You see... women love **** like that. They are attracted to him because of the celebrity that he has and the power (not to mention) the planes, trains, automobiles, clothes, and jewelry that celebrity can buy with it. Couple that with his powerful roles in movies like Fight Club (a sosuave favorite), Se7en (one of my personal favorites) and Troy, and women fall head over heels. And it is all of that that women are truly attracted to... the looks only aided him in being more 'famous' than other great actors. This example works very well on a high school level as well. Use this example next week in school if you get the chance:
Take a good looking guy, with horrible social status and find out how many girls he gets. Then... I want you to find a decent looking guy, with very high social status, and find out how many girls he gets. Next... take guys of equal attractiveness, one with bad social status, and one with high to moderate social status... who gets the most girls in this case? I am willing to bet that in most cases, the men with the higher status will win out everytime (guys like sports players, or class clowns). Why? Because men are attracted to looks whilte women are attracted to external stimuli , which in this case would be social status.
So remember, taking care of how you look is very important. However, with women it is what you bring to the table (be it status, money, intelligence, wit, etc.) that will have you sliding into home.
This ran a lot longer than I anticipated, so I will get to my other musings later.
So long... and good night.
