When I have a party, I like to invite a few potentials along so I've got options that night.. and if they don't work out they usually bring a friend too.

So just some quick advice on a good reply here.
There is a chick (HB9) that I pashed ages ago, I was AFC back then and it all fell to ****.
She's one of those chicks that knows she's hot, and knows that I wanted her, and plays on that. So I know she's pretty much not interested, but we've stayed in contact and recently I've been acting ****y and she's responding pretty well.

I asked her out last week but she made some bull**** excuse about having no money, but invited me out this weekend. I told her it was good she cancelled with no money, because I was expecting her to buy heaps of drinks... and that I'm already busy for the weekend, and she'd have to get in quicker in the future.

I sent a group email out today with a funny bday invite for a couple weeks. I put all the recipients on BCC, so it looks like it was sent individually.

She sent me this reply :

haha, um, is anyone else invited to this? Or just me?

I have two big things on that night with my best friend, but I'll try and come early for a little while.
Damn ***** is being ****y again!

I figured I'll just ignore it and see if she comes or not, but then thought I should take the opportunity to be ****y back.
So I'm about to send this, and figure, hey I'm on this forum, I may as well get some advice from guys who do this **** better than me. Here's what I was going to write :

"No. It's just you. I've specifically booked the whole place out and am decking it with red roses and chocolates, and asking the DJ to play slow dance songs while we sip on vintage champagne and eat my homemade pasta and talk about our emotional connection.

Haha, idiot! Get over yourself! :D

There should be a good turn out.. I'll prob be rocking up around 10.
Your friend or whoever is more than welcome, but don't sweat if you have something more important on...... (talk to the hand) :)

I probably won't have time to chat to you anyway.. I'll just palm you off to one of my other annoying friends before you get drunk and annoying and I have to fend you off when you pounce on me for a bday pash.."

Input welcome
Cheers

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Nah.....that wont work....you being far too defencive. Its so obious you like this girl and your using this sh!t as a defence mechanism.

"No. It's just you. I've specifically booked the whole place out and am decking it with red roses and chocolates, and asking the DJ to play slow dance songs while we sip on vintage champagne and eat my homemade pasta and talk about our emotional connection."

(Sarcasm....I like it!) Will make her laugh....but dont insult her.

Go on to say "There should be a good turn out.. I'll prob be rocking up around 10.
