Plenty of KKK groups weren't supremacists either. You get my point though. All these noble groups eventually delve into criminal activity and the pursuit of power.

Really, ALL groups are like that. Look at Congress. Look at the ANC. They got into power by pushing for equal rights for non-white Africans, then once they got into power, quickly fell into corruption and greed. It's all about who gets what.
