"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

I know there's another fashion thread, but I'd like some tips for me personally.

I currently live in Seattle, Washington where everyone dresses either like a bum, emo, or a prep. However I'm going to be moving to Georgia before the school season starts. I've decided to change my look after getting sick of looking like a fag with my emo/skater style. I'm gonna go with wearing blazers, long sleeve dress shirts, t-shirts, and fitted jeans (not baggy or loose). However, I'm not clear on where I can buy these clothes for a fairly reasonable price (budget of about $800) and high quality (Diesel, Guess, DKNY, etc?). I usually shop at a skateboard/skater style store called Zumiez where I'd get tight jeans and t-shirts of the Volcom and Hurley brand (btw, those brands are getting really popular). Also, I've heard that people in the ATL dress all ghettoish or redneckish (at least in highschool), and I feel like I'd be going overboard with the blazers, especially since I'm only a sophomore and I've never actually seen anyone my age wear a blazer to school. Maybe I've just got my head in my ass and I've seen to many bums and emo kids to realize that blazers are widely worn? I wanna be unique but I don't wanna feel like a fag. Again.

And if you'd like to share, how do you guys dress to school?

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

www.GQ.com ... go to the forums... but beware of the *******s on that forum. They don't seem to understand that highschool kids cannot afford Armani/Gucci/D&G/Prada/etc.

but what I think is... shop at a 'Urban Outfitters' for higher price/quality compared to the so-called "cheap" 'Abercrombie & Fitch' (as the GQ *******s say). Urban Outfitters isn't it's own brand... but if you check out their site (http://www.urbanoutfitters.com/), they sell brands like True Religion, Deisel, Locoste, etc. They have nice vintage Tees, Blazers, Denim... alot of them cost $50-$300 (Denim Jeans)

Edit//

I didn't mean $50 Tees. but there are some though.

Anyways... I wear Abercrombie... but I hate it... its so low-end to the world, but high-end for people my age.

Or go to Banana Republic. That's a good brand. It has nice white blazers that are fitted already (hourglass shape)

Btw for people who don't know. Abercrombie and Hollister ARE NOT PREPPY... its vintage

-------

And i know what you mean by the emo fashion.. i was big in it... i used to dress with abercrombie.. then it went old.. so i started wearing bum-emo clothes... got old... so im back wearing abercrombie... and its getting old... (even though i just applied for a job).

Marshalls, Filene's Basement, etc. Who cares what other kids in your school dress like. Make a statement, hit it with some chicks and before you know it kids will be copying off your fashion. It's a common misconception for young people to stereotype fashion. Everyone isn't "dressed like a bum/emo/prep". I don't care where you live, it's a free country and theres plenty of diversity. Be an innovator.

If you are still in Seattle, go to a second hand/ vintage store called "Red Light" in Capitol Hill, I have gotten some great stuff there.
BTW, A&F and Hollister and stuff is PREPPY (fake vintage= preppy)

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

How about wearing what you like and now being concerned with what other people in the area are wearing or not wearing. Buy dress shirts at jcpenny, they look good and theyre cheap. Go to foleys or dillards, they also have nice sh*t.

Seriously, how the **** does it matter if its 'real' preppy or not. Just wear anything that looks good on you and has decent quality. I shop at anything from diesel, lacoste to abercrombie fitch & american eagle as long as it looks good on me. Keep some money for a pair of good shoes (aldos / higher end puma's). Good quality shoes are a must.

yeah b.tch, i can dress nice... boo-f.ckin-hoo. some nig asks how to dress, i give him tips. some nig is wrong... i tell him whats right. i don't give a god d.mn if its a 'girly' thing to dress nicely.

what are you? are you a poor fat bum who wears tight sweatpants and a huge t-shirt with wrestlers on it? maybe a bit of mustard on it from 2 weeks ago too...? because you can't afford to change into decent clothes?

there's no f.cking way im metro either. i dress nice, but i don't walk like a chick or a gay-boy. i'm not in touch with my 'feminine' side either... because i don't have one.

anything else? i'd gladly show you how much of a dumbass you are.

okay mr. badass. give the thread starter some info now on how to dress with quality stuff, since im sure you know how to dress like a "man". if not, don't bother coming back.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

I shop at express mostly for dress shirts, polos, and t-shirts. They often seem to have nice sales, which is always a good thing. For jeans, I buy anything from Guess, to Calvin Klein. Just depends on what you like.
