Only cares for himself and his pleasures.
In his character description in War and Peace, part of his character description is : 'selfish, but would not harm anybody purposefully'. I beg to differ: he instructs his driver to go as fast as possible everywhere he goes, whipping peasants as he drives past them: the total opposite of what god tells us to be.
He spends all his parents money and keeps going back for more, no consideration how this might affect them. All he cares about is his pleasure, mainly women. He hangs about with the most despicable characters; drinking and partying A LOT. HE takes pride in seducing married women.
He is good with the ladies. Seduced Natasha who is due to be married. He just stared at her, told her how pretty she was, gave her lots of compliments. He walks confidently, you would notice him if he walked into the room. Him and his friends are the loudest in the room. He is good looking. I noticed he held good eye contact and seemed to put a spell on natasha. Let's not forget Natasha is due to be marrried. She loves Prince Andrey and their marrriage will bring a great fortune to her family which is desperatley needed, for their survival. Natasha has overided all this though, all she can see is Anatole. She thinks he loves her, but he dose'nt, it's just a fling for him and he finds it all a game.
God tells us ; give and thou shall receive. On the whole, i think he tells us to just be a good person.
What i see in the world we live in though, is that vile creatures like Kuragin get to reproduce their spawn and good christians dont...hmm...
