"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

Hello all,

Thanks in advance for reading this. I have an uncomfortable question for you, but I need to know the answer. When I was 12 years old, my father never gave me "the talk" (in terms of men and women).

I remember him recounting one time when he was walking down the hallway and the thing between his legs was stiff so he didn't know what it was so he went into the bathroom to adjust it. Then he told me, you shouldn't do that (i.e. touch it).

He also gave me an account of what male homosexuals do (sodomy) and then said, "That's why they call them ****packers," with disgust.

Was this sexual abuse?

Thank you.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Because his description of sodomy was pretty graphic and I remember being bothered by it afterward and trying to forget.

P.S. There are other details I'm not including, because I just wanted a read on this one incident. Thnks.

I think it's pretty weird personally. IDK if I'd call it sexual abuse but I dont' think there is need to go into graphic detail about a$$ sex and bashing on homosexuals to your son.

Definitely not something I would impress on my kids, but don't think I'd call it abuse. Maybe a little ignorant and uneducated(on how it would affect your mind), but that's probably it.
