See that's why I think that article is just a big bunch of BS. So what if the man decided not to go through with it. That's just one instance. If more women tried that I honestly think the results wouldn't be much more different from what already happens.

A similar story happened to my parents shortly after I left home. Mum's reactions were similar to that woman and it saved the marriage and my family. Dad was just freaking out (I won't get into details, but it was an identity crisis) and that lasted for 4-5 months. Mum didn't jump to conclusions. She did her research - books, Dad's best friends, my Natural/playa uncles (who know male/female dynamics just as well as any on this forum) - before taking actions.
That's what a great wife - and a quality woman - does: she supports you through your rough time and acts as a mirror to let you see yourself in your best moments, remind you of who you are and let you gain your confidence back. She knows when you're not being yourself and gives you time & space to find that Man inside again.
Now I know why some of you don't believe that quality women exist. You don't comprehend what a quality woman is. Reading comprehension is also not your strength either. For example:
This is not a rare story either. If you ask the older, happily married couples of previous generations, you know the ones who've been together 50 years and are still going strong, they will tell you that they've had to work through similar times in their marriage (sometimes it's the man putting up with the woman's hard time, sometimes it's the other way around). It's not always smooth sailing.
Too bad in our times, this wisdom (particularly wife putting up with husband like what the woman in the article did) has been killed by feminism & the modern It's-All-About-Me culture.

She was only talking about her own marriage and sharing her personal experience. She's giving one successful solution to a serious marital / relationship problem. That's all she's saying. ya i did keep mowing the lawn and such it was something i thought (was conditioned)to do.Was the ex that needed her "space" not me.Her telling me in a letter(13 years and she couldnt even tell me to my face WTF?)That she loved me but wasnt in love with me was a total shock to me and contributed to my nervous breakdown?She got her space allright took over a year of the games for me to tell her adios!!
