I'd say I'm OK with women now, but a few years ago I was really brutal and had next to no experience (one 16-year-old HB 9 girlfriend when I was 19 whom I never even had sex with... LOL). I had known her for a long time so it wasn't a pick-up, otherwise there's no way I would have gone out with her.
Back then I would hit on 6s and 7s from time to time because I was inexperienced (virgin), and figured that I was more likely to pick up one of them instead of a hottie I was really into. I basically started at the logically easier end of the spectrum. I've also noticed guys here saying "start with the more plain looking girls and work your way up."
However, and very conveniently, this "rule" does not hold in my case. I honestly have much better luck with 8s and 9s (10s don't exist in my books since nobody's perfect) than I do with 7s or less. I'd talk to some so-so looking girls who would be clearly disinterested or at most only slightly interested, and then talk to hotties who would eat it up. Obviously I'm not complaining, but it really threw me off for a while and I think I have an explanation:
I'm guessing that when I talk to an 8+, my whole demeanor changes to a more sexual/flirtatious one. When I talk to an 8+, she can really SENSE that I want her sexually, which makes me look more male/unapologetically sexual, whereas when I talk to a 6 I probably act like her girl friends (emasculated) or at least insincere.
I think if you're having issues with the so-so girls you might be better off trying your hand with the lookers, because you never know. You might be getting down on yourself uselessly. A lot of the hotties look intimidating but some are legitimately sweethearts once you talk to them. I've been pleasantly hugely surprised several times...

I think it has more to do with the 7's and less being a bit more protective of themselves.

I think Peter Griffin said it best.

"Meg, you're what we call a practice girl."

so 7s and less are afraid that all you're after is a few hours of pounding, then you'll leave to the 8+s once you got the hang of it.

that's at least a part of it i think.

Teej you are spot on, I have observed this exact same thing.

I believe it is because you are actually ATTRACTED to them at an intense level. I always operate better under abit of, I wouldn't call it pressure, but yeah you get the picture.

Def true all u guys. From my experience too, the hottest girls have been the most receptive to me and most attracted. Why? Because yea as u said, they can feel that sexually and intensity that u subconsciously exude toward them and then it triggers something in them. As gunwitch said, "The girls u most desire, tend to be the ones who are pretty attracted to you too" But the thing is, most guys will screw it up.haha.

Also yea the 7s and below don't want to get hurt and some are insecure. Also, some don't believe that they are "that" good looking enough to be swept off their feet, so then they appear less than nice. But that's their own fault, not our problem. So yea, we don't even have to bother with the lesser looking girls if they're not gonna be nice. The hottest girls are for us for the taking and they want us to take them. I've seen it time and time again, at the day time or a party, the 7s or below will actual more guarded or less interested, but then the hotties really do give better genuine reactions.

So yea fellow playboys, go for the girls u desire most. On this journey, its what im going for and am still at. Why settle for something ur given, why not settle for something that u get?

Girls feel emotions. NLP says going first is the best way to make someone feel something. I'm a pretty emotion-feeling guy, and so I know for a fact when I sense a girl that I wasn't necissarily into before become attracted to me, it sparks that same feeling in me.

I try to walk around with a constant feeling of love, because, well, I love how it feels.

I couldn't agree more. They are ALWAYS receptive. They ALWAYS WANT guys. This is not true for some 7s and 8s. They dont WANT guys all the time.

They are also better at showing signs of interest.

They just want an alpha male. SO, become one! Aim higher! I feel if you can reach your best self, and be that guy all the time... you can get 10s everyday.

The only problem is - reaching your best self and being an alpha male is a much bigger commitment in terms of game, as compared to being slightly C&F and learning some routines and trying to get laid.
