"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Your girl will not cheat on you if she's head over heels in love. Not gonna happen.

One thing that will spark her to, though, is if you constantly hound her jealously to where she becomes annoyed, then the relationship is broken over a trust issue.

A friend once told me to cheat on your girlfriend so that when she cheats on you (that all women are harlets outlook on life) you won't be disappointed and you'll be able to move on quickly (emotional shielding).

What horrible advice unless you plan on dating multiple women.

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

I agree with this assessment

A former good friend of mine, who claims he has had sex with over 200 girls/womenover the past 12 years, said the same thing to me.

For him, it was coming from a place of insecurity.

He liked to get involved with "fast women" who were stimulus seekers. They didn't feel the need, or have the capability, to be loyal, and he used to get hurt at the beginning.

For him, seducing their best friend or sister was about having that "card up his sleeve" that he could pull out when they would eventually cheat on him. An ability to hurt them back when the inevitable (in his mind) happened.

That all stopped when he found a girl he found worth committing to, however. To date, he has been strictly monogamous for over a year.

Does that mean he is giving up his power? She feels she's "got him", he is not a challenge to her anymore...

Hmm, Good question...

Actually, to some extent, he has. In the past, he only used to do well with girls he didn't care about. To them, he was the perfect alpha male, intolerant of female **** tests.

He actually OBEYS this girl, so in that respect, he is almost like any other AFC. However, he has other traits that set him apart:

He is a Badass (and a criminal)
He has a lot of connections around town (social proof)
He is funny
He continues to be alpha with everyone else (status)
He makes good money (doing bad things)

If you picture a biker, you would not be far off.

What's with all this power talk? It's nonsense. It's like self-esteem. Do you lose self-esteem when you stop pursuing sex with many women and instead just one with the one you love? To give you the right answer, no; because there is no such thing as self-esteem. It's only a concept that is used to measure yourself next to others until you get to some great self-realization. You need to be above all of that junk. We're advancing here, not going back in time. Self-esteem seems to hold a lot of people back because they believe they don't have enough of. It's not because they don't have enough of it, it's because there isn't any at all (kind of off topic, but it needed to be said).

She feels she's "got him?" Maybe that's what you think that she's thinking, or maybe it's actually that she thinks she's "got a great guy," or "got a chump just for sex," or "got a guy until the next one comes along." It's no different. Whatever you want to believe, that's what you'll think.

Plus, it's a bad place to come from thinking about what she thinks of instead of focusing on what you think about her. Is she good enough for you? Then you go from there. If things go well, then in a commited relationship it's completely different than some chick you're just banging for the sex. When the time comes, you'll know, just as in Sweetcheeks's example of the guy he talked about.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

You're 19. Why are you even entertaing the idea of monogamy? Let me tell you, if I had the chance to be 19 again with what I know now the LAST thing I'd apply any thought to is how to keep a ho true. Spin more plates.
