why not have a link at the top of the page on the anything else forum to a politics discusion board so that the people who decide to post here as they do not know of politics forums can just go there. It will have to be 1 where you can post as a guest otherwise people will decide not to sign up and just post the politics in anything else.

you could even set up a diffrent website as an un-moderated no topic discusion board, enter at your own risk, but with the same user database as sosuave so no need to re-register!
