I know an amusement park has the potential to be a great date but is it still the same for a 1st date? Me, and my friend and his gf made the plans to go to this amusement park about 2 hrs from here on next Sat. I wanted to push things back so I could get at least 1 date in with a girl so I knew her better but my friends gf has already taken off work for next Sat. Well I have to girls in mind to take. One I met off of myspace(yea I kno) and I was suppose to go out with this weekend but she got grounded and wants to do something next weekend. The other I met from the same place but we go to the same school and we've talked to each other about a lot of things and I'm kinda stuck in the friendship zone with her. I'm still tryin to decide which to take but any input would be appreciated. But would this be a good first date?

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Yeah, I'm sure it will be a great date. Only thing is if you'd have searched you would have seen another post that that pretty much what you said. The short answer was yes, however the long answer is no (unless of course you are rich) because you have reached a pretty good level of excitement going to an amusement park what's next? A movie? That's going to seem pretty lame now... you'll have to try to substitute excitement from uniqueness. If I took my girlfriend to an amusement park I'd be trying to figure out the most romantic place I could for the next one, I'm guessing if you have money for that you have money for a semi-fancy restaraunt (sp?). In my opinion, that'd be your best bet for your second from there it's going to have to be a brilliant combination of romantic and exciting places to go and things to do... if you are looking for a STR you are on the right track if your girl is like all the girls around here (everybody loves the thrill of a good amusement park, probably in part because we don't have one for 75+ miles lol) Anyway, don't sweat whether it's good or not, enjoy yourself! And for (insert your diety here)'s sake make her enjoy herself and then once it's all over and you got her liking you when you get home be pondering the next relationship (or banging her ;) ) Anyways, have a blast!
NO offence but i dont agree. See girls, they dont care as much about what restaurant u gonna take em at that age! i mean comen, they like 16 or 17. Second date would be nice to go dancing, somewhere to the club. NO need for extra Fancy restaurant, dont take her to McDonald's to eat also!!Take her for a coffe.

I'm gonna have to lean toward amusement park on 1st date, but the problem is it could go bad quickly or a lot of dead time. I suggest going on a group date there. Later dates are different then you know what to talk about and stuff and get the KINO, but on a first date at an amusment park you should play it safe and go on a group date.

Well for get about those 2 girls-I've been talking to this other girl I met on there and I'm gonna take her next Sat. Yeah I was thinkin it'd be better to get her out on at least one date before the amusement park date but I've got school and work Mon-Fri and its already set for this Sat unless I take her out tomorrow. So its pretty much agreed that this would make a great date even if its a first date?

Oh and I guess it would be a group date- it'd be me and which ever girl I bring, and my friend and his girl.
