While this was a fun read, it seems too fictional. 2 afcs in one night using canned pua routines? Like everyone else, I too wonder where you live that is so populated with wannabe-puas.

I wasn't whining I was just trying to get the points across that:

1. Insulting people who are, in you opinion, 'less cool' than yourself or whatever is pathetic and sad.

2. You should be careful who you do it to for your own sake...theres always some small, weak guy out there with a mate who's a pro boxer or street fighter or something...its just a matter of time until you piss the wrong person off.

... just for the record i'd rather be the AMOG then the one being AMOGed..

Your the only person I have ever heard of (over the age of 12) that does this for no reason. Try NOT AMOGing ppl and I bet it stops happening to you

The ironic thing is that the whole point of being a DJ is self confidence and high esteem..and AMOGing for no reason indicates the opposite of this

it was actually the course of a few weeks..and not everyone that recites theses silly canned opinion openers are PUAs/Dj's anyone can pick up a magizine or a copy of the game..

you guys are a bit slow i can see... read the post carefully- it specificlly even stated that i KNEW what they were up to and i TARGETED them because i wanted to see if they knew what to do in the situation of an obstacle and to see if they how tight their game was...they were chumps like i thought they were, i AMOGed regular guys but they didn't take it personal and either shot back with something equally amusing and antagonizing - we got a laugh out of it and i let them in my circle of friends.do i give a rats azz about some loser that can't take a NEG? i don't care dude , get the hell away from me! and go bother someone else..i'll say it straight up.

People act like AMOGing is some kind of huge insult. Maybe it invokes images of their childhood bullies named Bruno. My friends and I 'AMOG' each other all the time, and we're good at it. We get audiences, people laughing, and girls coming to be a part of it. It's fun. FUN!

AS much as I respect TD's idea and understand the practicality of AMOGing in certain situations, the way I think about it is as a TOOL. If I'm in set and a guy comes up I and I actually am controlling the set I just say "cool, man, whatever..." and keep talking to the group; other guy left out, gone.

IF he were to give a comeback, THAT'S where I pull the AMOG stuff (read: a guy is NOT alpha for the simple fact of coming up to your group; he is alpha if he puts up a fight or makes you work to oust him). Paying attention to the other guy or working too hard to tool him lowers your value... you're not really in control of the frame if you need to MOCK every person who tries to get into your set.

I see what you're saying, that you were just having fun, with it. Whatever floats your boat. I enjoy sarging girls more than tooling dorks.

AMOGing is not about TOOLING the other guy retards!!!

It's about coming off as the alpha male. It's not about make a beta male look worse, it's about making yourself look better.

You can be alpha by saying "shut up" and having people laugh because it's true. You can put your arm up and be alpha. You can WELCOME a person into your group and be alpha...

TOOLing people to be alpha, versus, AMOGing people to be alpha are two completely different things.

I really dont see any "problem" with what he was doing... anything that makes you feel or look alpha is a plus.

I'm definately going to try incorporating this into my game. I used to do something like this with my circle at college and I found it brought us all closer together and earned me respect points. Which in the DJ world is ALWAYS a plus.
