"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

John Williams is an incredible composer, although some of his material sounds overly similar to me (took me a while listening to the superman theme to realize it wasn't star wars).
That's the only thing that gets me about John Williams. A lot of his material does sorta sound the same. Now Jerry Goldsmith on the other hand, he really is versatile. Would you have guessed that he composed Star Trek: The Motion Picture, Alien, the Rambo movies, and Planet of the Apes?(the old one).

It's actually amazing how prolific Goldsmith is and the range of genres:
Tora Tora Tora
Basic Instinct
Logan's Run
Omen
Chinatown
Total Recall
Gremlins

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

I listen to classical music, smoke a pipe, and wear a smoking jacket around the house where I live. Sometimes I do this while reading the paper, other times I do it while surfing the internet, but most often while im relaxing in my room doing nothing but collecting my thought.

That being said, I played the classical style guitar from kindgerarden through senior year of HS. I went to composition camp and learned how to harmonize and analyse the elements for the periods of baroque, classical, and romantic era music.

So yeah I like it a little bit.

Forget the "social stigma" associated with unusual tastes in music, on the contrary chicks being chicks are mostly unoriginal robots when it comes to music (ie she listens to whatever top 40 trash her friends and the radio plays at the time.)

Most chicks are fully aware they are unoriginal and as boring as bat sh!t when it comes to taste in music so there is usually very little passion shown when a potential partner tells her he thinks 50 cent/Brittney Speared is crap.

It shouldnt even be a topic to be discussed to you as a matter of fact, the b!tch is a lucky guest in YOUR reality and should feel privileged to listen to whatever your playing at the time.

DJing is tough when a chick says she listens to Coldplay/50 cent
DJing is not "tough" when a chick says she listens to coldplay, 50 cent etc because for starters thats bullsh!t boring fluff talk which doesnt even count as DJing.

Chick: Well I really like (insert latest random garbage that stirred her last romantic fantasy emotions).

You: Yeah? I really like sticking my thumb up my ass.

^ Would probably have better results at making her panties moist than you waffling on about your music taste which she couldnt give a fvck about anyway.

Btw I like Kate Bush but I still got my **** sucked by 3 different chicks in 2 nights last week, although 1 of them was ugly as sin you still get my point.

On a side note guys who listen to classical music are usually anal retentive, pretentious wankers (you all know what Im talking about), just make sure your not one of those guys.

I dont even listen to music at all, and I've never had 1 girl complain. In fact, even the guys stop complaining after 5 minutes of George Carlin.

I like Mendelssohn-Bartholdy, Mahler, Tschaikowsky, Rachmaninoff, van Beethoven, Strauss, Schönberg, Berlioz, Gade, Haydn, Balakirev, ...

It's cool to listen to classical music, cause everyone nowadays likes 50cent or Metallica, so you're something special when you're listening to classical music!

Come get some!

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Hmm. I like to think my musical tastes are pretty good. Anytime I'm trying to collect my thoughts I'll find an internet radio station that plays classical and play it. I like mainly rock and classical but techno and country music are ok in my book too. Rap is pretty ****ty most of the time but some of it is alright.

Hall of the mountain king is awesome, I have a version that Apocaliptica did that is just amazing. Some of my favorite stuff comes from the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Oasis, Train, Metallica, Third Eye Blind, and Bon Jovi. Pink Floyd and Led Zepplin have some amazing stuff and I listen to them.
