"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

D@mn, I been posting so much about this sh!t, its gettin rediculous now.

Anyway, I have been with a girl for 2 months, she is my girlfriend, which I think happened way too quickly. Before me, she hada boyfriend of 4 years. They broke up for 4 months, got back together for like 3 months, then finally ended it. I started seeing her a month later, and she was my girlfriend after that.

She told me how much she hated him because of all the crazy **** he put her through, he even hit her. She said she never wants to speak to him again. So the other day he shows up at her house to show her his new motorcycle. They talk for a few, then she goes in and he follows her in, where they talk for a few more. She says he was on one side of the room, she was on the other, and that he only stayed for 20 minutes, tops.

She claims that they just did the usual "how are you, how was your holiday, etc..." Then he left. She calls and tells me. I kindo f flipped out. I started questioning her about it, like "do you want him back? do you still have feelings for him? etc..." She swears nothing happened they didnt even touch, and she felt nothing for him. I beleive her, I guess, as I do not think she would cheat, she actually seemed pretty disgusted by the fact that I thought she would.

So I got three questions. 1. Do you guys think I reacted poorly to when she told me? I took it as a good sign she told me, as she was honest. 2. Do you think I should be worried about the situation? 3. What should I say to her next time I talk to her? which is very soon.

Thanks for the help everyone. Sorry for the long post, you all are just very helpful usually so I appreciate it!

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

I think somethings up.

You say she hates him, and never wanted to talk to him again. He drops by to show her his motorcycle. He didn't follow her in, she invited him in. If she was that worried about past problems (such as the abuse) no way in hell in strolls in with her for a casual talk.

I hate to sound like a kill joy, but they probably ****ed. The same thing happened to me a few years back. Her excuse was that she was totally over her ex, but left a bunch of stuff behind because she used to spend half the time at his place. So when she went back to get it, "one thing led to another."

re

well, she only slept with him 3 times...for like 2 minutes each...she made him stop because she really didnt want to do it with him. She told me this but i also heard it from other sources. So i dont think anything happened i really don't. Plus she really isn't like that(even though you guys won't believe me). Plus, if something happened, why would she bother telling me he was there at all? Wouldn't she just try to hide the whole situation, as I would have no clue in finding out at all that he was there.

I honestly feel she just wanted to let me know what happened because as she said "i thought you should know".

I dunno

Stop worrying about your girlfriend's ex, and put some moves on her! Check it out, her ex-bf just showed up at her door for the first time in awhile with a motorcycle. What did you do? Like a AFC, you worried over the fact that they might have done something. So what. If they did, they did. Make her crazy over you, by being unpredictable and challenging, then possibly you will find out the real truth about what really happend. Accusing or asking her what happend will get you no where. Girls don't work on common sense. Girls work on what we call "feel". If they feel for someone that strongly in the moment, they go for it. So make her "feel" for you by not worrying what her ex is doing. She will sense you're not concerned, and turn her love towards you.
