To start off, basically I was always friends with a lot of girls, I got along better with them than guys. Most of these friendships would end with the girl telling me it's too hard for her to be "just friends" with me. I don't know what I was doing to make them like that, maybe it was "people want what they can't get", maybe something different. If I knew what I was doing, I'd love to be able to share. I'm looking into it now.

I could go more into these types of scenarios, but in short, when I was 16 I made one of these friends (HB8) my girlfriend. This girl was crazy about me in the bad way, I could not stop her from leaching onto me, she was a parasite.

When we first started dating, I immediately lost contact with about 5 girls who I used to talk about on a daily basis. I thought they all were keen, so I thought they were just doing the smart thing and NCing me. A few girls I stayed in contact with before they all ended the friendships after admitting their "love" for me and that they can't deal seeing me with my girlfriend.

We dated for 13 months, and I was forced to end it as she would break down in tears every time I talked to or even looked at another girl, which was annoying due to having 3 18ths on every week and bringing her along to them.

So basically after breaking up I went on the usual sleep with as many girls as fast as you can period. I met this one girl before breaking up with my ex, and immediately after the break up, we hooked up and few times and I thought nothing more of it.

Next few times I saw this girl at parties, I got nothing from her. No IOIs, no kino, nothing. I didn't really care to be honest, I just accepted she wasn't interested anymore.

I stayed friends with this girl, we really hit it off, could talk for hours which was really nice. I did see her as just a friend, and wasn't trying to get in with her or anything.

After several months of being friends, she eventually jumped me at a party (dec 2012) while I was getting a jacket from the bedroom (which was awesome btw) and we played around for a bit, then she suddenly got up and left.

I kept talking to her for a bit, but more on and off now, but since May we have been really talking to each other a lot. She is in her final year of highschool, while I'm in my first year of uni. She is taking me to her formal and we have a holiday booked together for the end of the year. To my knowledge this was all as friends.

On Friday, I was with her and she was complaining that the friend zone is stupid, and I was explaining to her how it worked. She then told me I have no experience being in the friendzone, and I then (like an idiot) asked her to be my gf. I wasn't being serious, I was just expecting her to say "no youre a fkn idiot" and then we'd laugh and I could say "there's my experience" (we have had many conversations like this)

This time, she broke down in an emotional rage, and basically told me how she used to be really into me, and I can't keep toying with her. She then goes on to get angry about what happened in december last year saying how I was the one clearly wanted her to go away? She was really mad at me. She then said "if you ever wanted me as your girlfriend you would have done something back then." Eventually she accepted that I was just asking her so she would say no and said
"And you say you're not treating me like a toy?
You just made me go through all that bullsh1t to tell me you were proving a point. Are you sh1tting me right now?
I'm going
I feel like a joke, cheers"

This girl was constantly saying how she would make a bad gf and she isn't keen on having boyfriend. I took these as dead giveaways that she wasn't into me.

Realising this, I would love to have had a girl like this as a potential GF or FB, I just never saw her as such a thing. I asked to see her on saturday to which she said no she was busy, but then she kept persisting on talking to me, I didn't give her much reply. I eventually organised to see her for lunch on sunday and chat things over and see how they went, basically just wanted to say I'm sorry and try a bit of kino to see if it got anywhere. Of course she cancelled last minute, but she was quite persistent on a counter.

Sunday was the last day of school holidays for her before the new semester of her last year started, and she texted me sunday morning saying
"Wtf I just grounded for not doing my homework! You really should have made a bet....
I'm not allowed out till I've done it :(( I'm free all of next weekend though?"

I then replied "Hahaha if you don't wanna chill just say so dude"

To which she replied "No I really want to!
But mum cracked the absolute ****s
Are you free next weekend?"

and I said "Still waiting to hear back from someone"

I haven't spoken to her since, been ignoring her.

So guys, reckon I should pursue anything with this girl, I would like to, mind you getting rejected could make things really weird since we have future plans already paid for (formal and overseas holiday)???

Had no luck with any sort of reply
TL:DR version

Met a smokin babe, but had gf. Broke up with gf a few months later, mucked around with this girl a few times. Suddenly she shows no IOIs or anything like that, got rejected several times. Became good friends with her.

Content with being friends with her, don't see her as anything more, don't intend on trying again.

She jumps me at a party after months of being completely platonic with her and we fool around more (9 months or so after we first met). She suddenly walks away.

Start contacting each other less, but this builds up again. We plan a trip overseas for this November/December. She asks me to go to her formal with her.

I joke around with the possibility of us being together, she becomes really mad because I didn't initiate anything earlier, even though she gave me no IOIs and rejected me, and walks off in the middle of the act.

Should I try getting with her? I think she would make a great girlfriend, one of the few girls my age I can hold a decent conversation with and seems like it could be okay. Or do you guys think the possibility of rejection and her saying no could make things like her formal and our holiday way too weird??

Basically, I think I like this chick, and I'm kinda keen to trying something more than pumping and dumping every weekend. Should I try with a friend who has confessed she has feelings for me?

In a perfect world if this happened, I would instantly just forget the girl, move on. I have many times before and it has always worked out great. This time however, things like expensive holidays have gotten in the way.

I'd say be firm in showing her that you like her, and take her. Don't be a rapist, yet don't be a wuss either, she mostly seems to like you alot and is afraid of losing you.

Shes a woman, her mind goes left and right, its your to guide, her desires for you are likely quite strong.

More information about you and her would be helpful. What kind of person you are and what kind of person she is.

Not sure why more people havn't replied to this post of yours, seems kind of like a troll post :p

I'm not trolling :O didn't mean for it to appear that way.

I've never been the guy to have heaps of guy friends, always had one or two close ones and heaps of acquaintances though. Always been closer with girls than I have with guys.

I always play around with the girls I talk to, make fun of them and all that stuff, this girl is one of the few ballsy enough to give it back to me.

She has always been very open with guys, but mainly she just goes around macking on and not fvcking, but it has happened. She has recently stopped this though. To me the options are she is doing this because

a) she likes me

b) in the words of judge nismo - "your princess is in another castle"
However I'm not sure this is likely as she doesnt tell me she just going after one guy as I usually know what she is doing. I will slightly edit these wise words into "Your princess is not in your castle"

c) maybe she is just over swapping saliva with every second guy she meets

Eh, idk she might be. But dating the way it is and "officially together" and being married and all that mumbo jumbo, I just don't think there is a clear definition or understanding of true commitment in most people's minds these days. I'd figure that out and test her, and take her if everything checks out.

Granted if you are open to being a man whose like I stupidly was at one time and don't care for her in the long term at all. I'd take it lol, and as for the girls and guys thing.. Me too, I find it easier to get along with girls. I'm not too into becoming bros with a guy, it just seems kind of boring and pointless to me. I have value for guys that are close friends tho. then again I am 21 figuring stuff out, this is what my opinions are, haven't thought them all too deep and cracked out all the water, not even sure if there is water. Hopefully some of the wiser members will chime in

-good luck, make your own luck :p

Although I do quite enjoy getting competitive with guys, whether I know them or not. Love a woman who puts up a fight and challenges me yet still knows and understands respect.

I always told my ex to get some balls sadly it just confuses most women
