"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Read oodles on this topic. Many conversations, etc.

What would be your personal interpretation of being an alpha male be?

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

It just means top guy, women want the top guy, whatever that entails. Could be the best actor, the best basketball player, the strongest guy in the gym, the most socially influentual guy in the bar.

I don't believe there are any definitive or universal traits that alphas have, they're all different. And I don't believe it has anything to do with the red pill.

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

I actually love this topic because it’s a never ending discussion. That’s why it’s easiest to just pic characters.

To me, Alpha is the embodiment of leadership. Leaders must be confident, powerful, intelligent, unwavering in their resolve, and exercise higher levels of emotional self control than their peers.

When I think of alpha I think of James Bond and John Wayne.

He was mentioned in the Neil Strauss book "The Game." The quote I remember is:

Everyone must be thinking about what Tom Cruise is thinking about!

They both r fakes.

Using techniques to mask their inherent passive nature.

When push comes to shove they'll both break.

Does someone has to be an immoveable Alpha to be persuasive and influence?

Alpha is just an idea rooted by observations by men who has dominants traits that's inherent in both motivators and doers personalities.

But it doesn't automatically mean that they r great men.

You can copy but you'll still come off as fake when challenged.

It's easy to recognise a dominant personality and likewise with a passive.

"True Alpha" is one who has 100% trust in himself that he will handle whatever comes his way. Any situation he is in, he comes out on top.
Agreed, except he doesn’t always come out on top. No one always wins. The alpha is best equipped to overcome adversity in the long run.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Yeah no. These no such thing as being “too Alpha.” Someone who is macho 24/7 doesn’t have the slightest clue what being alpha actually means, which was the basis for the thread. Alpha and macho are not synonymous.
That depends.

If an intellectual such as urself defines it as such and generally live life as such then u r alpha (in ur mind).

I think it's fairly evident that most people seem to have their own unique definition of what alpha means. Which just contributes to it being a basically meaningless term.

"1.4 informal as modifier Denoting a person who has a dominant role or position within a particular sphere. "

Alpha is simply dominance. If you're a top tier lawyer, you are an alpha lawyer. You get the most resources, you are looked to as a leader, people turn to you to get things done. If you're in a relationship with a woman, you're the leader. You handle the relationship, you lead it, you're competent and she looks to you to get things done. It also means you compete with other men in those spheres. Can this other guy provide more protection, more money? Does he have his life more sorted out? Is he better in bed?

Think about a friend you have who is doing really well in their career. You admire that person because they are succeeding. They are dominating within their sphere of influence. That admiration is what women are attracted to, in part. Women cross culturally and universally do not date down in social status.

Where people get confused about alpha, is associating it purely with physical dominance, tyrannical dominance only, or creating a binary in which you can only have alpha traits. That sort of caricature of alpha might be attractive to some women, but it's not necessary for success with women in general. It's likely it is harming your success with other demographics of women, potentially women you might want to date.

Not many men make it to the absolute top of physical fitness, career success, etc. And there are 3 billion women. Thinking you need to be the epitome of "alpha" to get women is insanity. You just need to be competent and aim at women within your social sphere. There are good attractive women within all spheres of society. Just because you don't have a shot with Angelina Jolie because you're not Brad Pitt, doesn't mean you're not alpha enough for women in general. Don't fall into the trap of creating all or nothing scenarios that trap you in your state in life.

Yes it is a meaningless term.

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.
