Dont know if any of you have ever experienced anything like this and its sort of bringing me down. I am an upbeat person, very personable and take pride in having alot of friends. I get down when i find out someones talking about me or hating on me. Well this last month has sort of sucked. One of my coworkers went out with my girlfriends best friends. He came into work and told me about it and proceeds to tell me she didnt have many nice things to say about me.. namely im an *******, anyway the next night im in the bar with my best friend and his current girlfriend comes in and pretty much gives me a very weird vibe... i ask my friend whats up and he says shes pissed right now... i asked him why and he informs me its because i caught her in a lie about one of her previous relationships which i told my best friend about.... last night i was supposed to go to a party for one of my bosses kids, me and my girlfriend had just got back from the beach and she ended up getting a nasty case of food posioning right before my bosses party. I stayed with her and didnt really think it was a big deal. Well this morning i checked my voice mail and got a nasty one from my boss pretty much saying thanks for comming to the party.. what you did was ignorant and i will remember when im assigning overtime. Now im pretty much fed up and down in the dumps... is there any advice on how to bring my mood up, right now i feel like everyone absolutly hates me.
 

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Your boss is a dumb SOB who you should explain the real situation to calmly.

Also pay the other stuff no mind.

It just sounds like one of those bad spells that pass.

Thanks Kontroller, i called him back, of course had to leave a voice mail and explained the situation. It seems like a bad spell and hopefully it passes soon. I dont like having all this negative crap being said about me.

Well guess what? It is a big deal. In the adult world, you don't plans with anyone, especailly your BOSS, and then change your mind later without telling him. Even if you had a good reason to change your mind, you've gotta call him right away.

The rest of the crap sounds like small town gossip. Let the females worry about that stuff.
