"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

yeah I regret not being more involved in the whole social scene that went on in HS and approaching girls, was friends with the popular kids but never really did anything with them because I was shy so yeah I regret not living it fully, but now uni is pretty similar to HS so far.

Spend lots of time with your friends and just have fun together. A lot of high school friendships and relationships fall apart during college, so enjoy this time while you can. Do community service in your spare time--it builds character and looks great on a college app./job resume, especially if you volunteered to take a leadership position in an organization. Oh, and sometime during the year or summer, go through your room and get rid of anything you're not taking to college with you. Somehow, college has a way of making your stuff grow exponentially, and coming home for the summer only to embark on a huge cleaning and Goodwill project was no fun for me at all.

Alternatively, you could just rent a U-Haul trailer, or a truck if your car isn't powerful enough to tow a trailer.

There's no reason to toss out what you'd probably have to buy again later. Examples: Coffee Tables, small appliances, A/V equipment (TV, VCR/DVD, etc.), bathroom stuff.

Even if you still don't throw out anything (except for the obvious trash), you'll probably still have to buy even more stuff. Shorten the list of stuff to buy, and don't toss out anything.

i left school last year, and i knew nearly everyone in my year, but i never spoke to most of them apart from saying hi. i just hung around with my close friends. i only found this site a few months ago so i wasnt a dj back then, and wasnt popular with the girls.

im in sixth form now, at the same school and iv developed a great reputation in school, almost everyone in the school knows who i am, and alot of the girls make conversation with me, and i never have a lack of people to talk to.

so my advice for you and everyone else is too get a good reputation and meet as many people as you can in school ;)

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Heres my advice:

-Stay in school
-Don't get into a habbit of skipping classes
-Do you assignments
-Do your homework before you hang out with friends, watch tv,play videogames. Cause eventually u will just be putting it off and not want to do it.
-Stay away from drugs/alcholol. If you already do that, save it for the weekends.
-Don't let p@ssy get in the way of school. (I use to skip classes to go bang my chick... wasn't worth the education I was missing)

This may sound like common sense but I did the opposite of what i just wrote and it made school hard for me, my life harder, and more stress on me.

I agree. Let me elaborate.

- Stay in school.
If you don't like the school and/or the town, transfer. If it's just because it's school, consider all the cooler stuff you'll be able to get or do once you finish.

- Don't skip classes.
This may have been cool in high school, but not so in college. Some freshmen skip classes with too much frequency, as they have the freedom to do so. However, there are still negative consequences. Poorer grades, needing to repeat classes, or in extreme cases getting kicked out due to poor academic performance. When I was a freshmen I did that, and I paid for it. Nowadays while I can't say it never happens, it's only once in a blue moon. I also do my damnedest to be there on test days, as those are the most important. A lot of teachers won't let you make up tests except for extreme circumstances, and tests also count for a lot.

- Do your assignments.
If you don't, you're grades will suffer, you increase the likelihood of repeating classes, which results in wasted time and money.

- Do your homework before leisure time.
Sometimes it's hard or impossible, if there are significant events that you don't want to miss. Usually, that's not the case, so it makes sense to finish them first. Personally, I don't like to do school stuff on weekends at all. So, I plan for it, finishing what I can before Friday evening, and using time during the week. It's best to do it at times when nothing fun is going on anyway, such as Tuesday afternoon.

- Stay away from drugs/alcohol.
It's good advice, but I'll never tell anyone to stay away from alcohol entirely. Most people drink to some degree, so there are things you may be missing out on if you don't drink at all. But, don't go overboard. Don't get drunk every night, and DON'T show up to class drunk, high, or stoned.

I'm also going to add what I consider to be good advice. The high school mindset regarding classes isn't going to get you through college. As such, you'll be experiencing some changes in your approach to classes. For this reason, I strongly recommend against taking a full load of classes for your first semester. There are only two groups of people where I think this advice doesn't apply; nerds and valedictorians. Chances are, you're neither. I did take a full-load, and I didn't perform well at all. I didn't get my act together enough, as the slacker high-school mindset doesn't cut it. By the time I did get my act together, the damage was done. I was kicked out of the school, I had to attend a community college, and now I'm finally back at a four-year school. Thankfully, I got my act together before getting kicked out, so I performed pretty well at the community college. Don't worry about taking a little longer, or needing to take a summer class or two. If you take an additional semester, it won't matter when you're 60 years old. As for summer classes, they don't have the same negative stigma that summer high school has.

I've been outta school a year, and I regret nothing.

I was a dorky little kid back in school. Now I'm a successful man, and pulling all the ***** that looked down on me back in the day, now THATS a good feeling, and it's all down to self improvement.

I'm going to be a senior, and I regret every day I don't bulk up. I didn't get a car till this year, and will ask for a gym membership for my b-day coming up in less than a month. Pook's "What every skinny guy should know" post is arguable the best, probably top 3. He might exaggerate some stuff about his life, but as someone that's 5'10 123 lbs. I can attest to being extremely skinny gives you such a disadvantage. The best you can do is the cute girls.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

bling:

123 pounds and 5'10 =0 you're tiny!

Get that gym membership bro, and until you get that, start doing push ups and any other kind of training you can do, and start to up your eating, even if you're not gymming yet

-I regret not getting my driver's license earlier (got it while I was 17)
-I also regret not trying out for any sports teams. I definitely was athletic enough, just didn't have any friends who were into sports.
-socializing in general, especially w/girls

I was the smart kid... so I didn't have much problems with studies, which are equally and probably even more important than the stuff above.

Screwing more chicks and making my skillz better, I focused on too much of my image with certain chicks (HB7-8) I could have tripled my score. Getting good grades and applying early for college applications. Doing more extra curricular stuff like sports and clubs.
